Vladimir looked forward slowly as Nightwing stopped in front of the cemetery and he stood to get down from the carriage and he offered to help Daemon down.

Daemon took the offer once more, liking this whole thing. He could get used to Vladimir taking care of him like this. He got down and stumbled, his leg wound sending a pang of hurt through his whole body. He winced and looks up to the cemetery.

Vladimir held him steady. The cemetery was bordered with black iron fencing that was rusted and covered in plant life, the gates opened and tangled with vines and roots. Stone angels and Virgin Mary's stood amongst the headstones.

Daemon looked at the cemetery and was rather awed by how pretty it was. The angels and Virgin Mary's were most beautiful. He looked at all the rust and the vines. He felt rather saddened by how much it went bad. "I want to fix this up..."

Vladimir put an arm around him. "Not until your leg is better." he said softly. "I'll help you." He walked Daemon past the iron gates into the cemetery. All the names of the staff were carved into the stones, some missing the dates that they were born. The angels and Virign Marys either had their hands outstretched as if waiting for an embrace or in a praying clasp, their faces expressing a sort of happiness or were blank.

Daemon smiled sadly at the names and the statues. It was something he hadn't seen before since his parents never told him where his family was buried. He read each name and the death date. He silently thanked each one as he read for their sacrifice. He never knew the staff, but if they gave their life for Vladimir's, they were good people to him. He looked at one of the angels with outstretched arms. He made himself walk over to one before he stumbled and caught himself on the angel's arm. "Ow... Your staff are nice people. Brave. Doing what they did for you."

Vladimir walked over to Daemon and helped him stand back up. "They were...I want to show you to someone who was very important to me." he said softly as he led Daemon over to the only stone angel whose wings and arms were outstretched, the name "Clementine" carved in the pedestal the angel stood upon as well as a death date. "This was my nanny...and even after I grew up and began diving into my studies, she remained in the mansion as a housekeeper. When the hunters came for my parents, Clementine led me safely to the basement where she hid me in a panel in the floor meant to keep the alcohol out of reach. They never knew to check there...and she put some kind of powder around the door so the hounds couldn't catch my scent."
