Daemon nodded. "I know. But I feel relaxed and it's easier to tell you now.. Well.. My name wasn't always Daemon. It was actually Kyin Purus. Pure Kyin basically... they never told me what it meant. But anyways.. I didn't like it. I never really liked my uncle. He was.. ah... manipulative and tried multiple times to pretty much take advantage of me because I'm not a "blood relative". I was the step child basically. Anyways. He tried a lot. Once did he succeed.. But.. at 18 I changed my name because I didn't want to be associated with them. So i changed it to Daemon Kegareta. It was my biological's father's name... They found it ironic that I changed it to basically Impure Demon... I didn't know that. But.. he laughed about it. when my parents left, he took a knife or... i forgot exactly what it was.. but he heat it up and carve this word into my arm... A mark.. I would always be a Purus. Even if I'm not so pure myself. He called me tainted... a tainted Demon."

Vladimir pulled Daemon's hair back with his soapy hands and finished lathering the hanging part, then he rinsed off his hands and wrapped his arms around Daemon's neck. "I wish I could heal your skin of that name."
