Daemon smiled and gently placed the white wine back into the fridge and closed it. He uncorked the bottle and searched for two glasses. He pulled open several cabinets before he found what he was looking for and poured the wine. He walked over to the table and placed one of the glasses in front of Vladimir then sat down himself. "See, that wasn't so hard to pick."

Vladimir stared at the glass and swallowed as quietly as he could. "N-no it wasn't." he replied with a soft chuckle. While the texture wasn't the same as blood, the color was close enough. He tried to smile over at Daemon to take his mind off. He wasn't at the point where he could hear Daemon's pulse, though if he focused enough he probably could anyway. The sound would drive any hungry vampire mad and Vladimir found a way to block it out. "I trust you didn't stress yourself too much while I was gone?"

Daemon lifted the glass to his lips and took a small sip of the liquid. He looked at Vladimir and smiled softly. "No, Vladimir, I didn't do anything like that. I just did what I could while I had my injured arm trying not to move."

He smiled and began to eat the pasta that they had prepared. His lips closing around the fork before he pulled the pasta off his utensil.

"I'm glad. I was afraid of you getting hurt." Vladimir replied. He picked up the fork and began to move the pasta around on his plate. "By the way, there is something I forgot to mention. I own a horse, Nightwing. He stays in the stable towards the back of the property and has been with the family for many years. I won't ask you to do anything major like change his horseshoes or bathe him while you're injured, but I would appreciate if you leave some hay and some horse feed for him. Also, to see he has water. I can do the maintenance. I forget to feed him, sometimes though...I consider him family. He won't give you any trouble, he's a very laid back stallion and he likes attention and being talked to."

Daemon's fork stopped midway between his plate and his lips. He closed his mouth and placed his form down before he turned his neon greens eyes to the man in front of him. He owned a horse too?! It was like a real old time castle! "Oh wow, you own a horse? I really want to see him and I wouldn't mind doing anything for him. I can take care of his feeding and water. Maybe even some attention of course. I used to own a really attention seeking cat, so I can deal with attention."
