Daemon closed his eyes and basked in the attention he was getting from Vladimir. He smiled slightly and snuggled closer to the man.

Days passed...days turned into months...months into seasons. Winter came and the wolves retreated to the farther end of the forests to hunt for food for their pack, so Vladimir and Daemon were able to enjoy the winter atmosphere together when the sun refused to shine amidst the gray clouds that loomed. And as the time had passed, Vladimir and Daemon continued exploring each other deeper...not just in the bedroom, but into each other's pasts. Vladimir revealed each and every story behind the scars and Daemon opened up more about his own secrets that Vladimir took to heart and was patient in them coming out, holding Daemon when he would have an emotional episode or would start to cry. Daemon then said something to him rather bluntly, not long after he told him about the scars, that he wanted to have Vladimir's child and would do so...even if it meant they weren't married.

He was shocked, yes, but he also felt a sense of happiness and a little excitement...but he was also worried since Daemon would be the one to deal with the pros and the cons of being pregnant.

"Are you sure about this, Daemon?" Vladimir asked in concern as he watched Daemon frantically search his library for the book he had mentioned that had the spell. "You're not worried about...anything?"

Daemon continued to pull books off the shelves and flip through pages before dropping them on the floor. He would clean them up later, Vladimir knew he would. He continued his search even as Vladimir spoke to him. He stopped with his hand pulling a book from the self.

"not really. I mean, maybe a little. More about he fact that I would be a pregnant male... And well.. if it's anything like a female pregnancy... my moods. I'm already emotional as it is.." he pulled the book off the shelf before dropping it to the floor.

"Will.. ah.. how.. um.." he stopped what he was doing and thought about his question and how to really put it. "How will i give birth to the child though.. I mean, I don't have proper parts..."

Vladimir walked over slowly. "The way the book described it...we won't have a choice but to perform a C-section when your water breaks...if it does."

Daemon nodded and pulled another book off of the shelf and flipped through it, handing it to Vladimir. He wrapped his arms around the man and snuggled into his chest. "Alright... But what do you mean. if it does? Shouldn't it always break when the baby is ready."

"Well...I suppose so." Vladimir replied as he held Daemon against his chest while looking at the book at Daemon handed him. The red book had an aged binding and Vladimir's family crest on the cover. This was the book.

Daemon smiled and snuggled up to the man. "So.. this is it right? I can have your child?" He looked up at Vladimir hopefully.

Vladimir nodded at him with a warm smile. "We'll be a family..." he said softly.
