This all was happening in the Throne Room, where the man's Noble friend's were. They were having a Royal Dinner, and the King was the Host. Yes, this was a King. His name was King James, King of Scotland. He was a very powerful King, due to inheriting it from his father, who died five years ago. They didn't think he'd fit as a King, but James proved them all wrong, and has raised a powerful Kingdom. King James wasn't your average King, he was very generous and kind, even if he had some rage, like this outburst.

When the food splat on Soma's face, the King's 'friends' laughed at Soma, some saying he was so worthless, and King James should get a new servant. King James agreed with this response, "That's a good idea, maybe then he'll learn to do things right the first time" King James had enough of him, and shooed him away. Begone with you, Soma, I have lost my appetite"

Soma would sigh as he held his tongue when he felt the food splatter all over his face, while everyone else laughed and belittled him he picked up what he could and when he was ordered away he bowed to James and left to the kitchen, once inside he held the silver plate in his hand and bent it in anger. "Gah sometimes I just wanna wring his royal neck.." he said to himself, he stared at the kitchen staff and they all quickly went back to work. Although Soma was a servant he was higher ranking then the others around the castle so everyone usually stayed out of his way. Soma sighed as he smacked the plate against his face feeling stupid for bringing Jame's the wrong thing, even though he didn't really care he didn't like the thoughts his friends gave him about replacing him. Soma then snickered a bit, "If they only knew..." he blushed a bit before bringing the plate down from covering his eyes to see the staff stopped working, they all quickly went back to work as Soma walked off to the bathroom to wash up.

Soma sighed as he looked in the mirror and tried his best to remember that all of his was an act, James never treated him so coldly when they were alone, in fact it was quiet the opposite, James treated Soma like a prince when they were alone. Soma would dry himself off before walking back to the kitchen to make himself a plate of food, mostly meats which he knew he would be needing the energy from later tonight, because boy was James gonna have to make up for this one. As Soma ate he sighed and tried to calm himself, he peeked out of the kitchen and watched James have fun with his friends, before sitting back down on the floor and finishing his food, once he was done he went tot eh big deep sink and washed his own dish and put handed it to one of the staff so they could put it away for him, being so short was kind of hard, but everyone was fine with helping out when he needed something up high and out of reach.

He knew he was going to have to pay Soma big time from this, and he only thought of that because he knew Soma would think of that. James continued to laugh and talk with his friends, eating the food in front of him, which was enough but it wouldn't fill him up. He asked another servant of his to get him some real food, mostly meat, per-usual. James was going to have them over for awhile, and was just waiting until all of them were going to leave.

Some were already starting to leave, and James was finishing up his plate. He did hae to talk about politics, which was the military and the citizens. He already knew about the gossip and such, because he was very connected, so they moved on from that. In a nutshell, everything was going good, and he didn't have to worry. James got up, after everyone left, and he finished his plate. He turned to his body guards.

"I don't want anyone coming down the halls, and I don't want to be disturbed" He would have said what he was going to do, but the guards already knew. You just have to tell them once and they'll know when you're going to do it. James walked off, and called Soma to come and follow him.

Soma would sigh as soon as all the food was done and everyone in the kitchen started talking and taking their break, he kept peeking outside the door and watched as James had his fun, well at least someone was enjoying themselves so far today. Once dinner was over Soma helped clean the kitchen, before long he heard James call his name and he ran over to the King as they walked down the halls. Soma would nudge James a bit as he looked up at him, "I hope you have enough energy to make that up to me." he said, referring to the little act he pulled at dinner. Even though Soma knew they had to stay a secrete sometimes James got a little to out of control with his acting. He felt a grope from both ends, and he snickered with a shit-eating grin on his face. Yet, they were going to have a wild time this night, but again, King James had to get his apologizes out the way. They entered into their room, and James closed the door. He didn't even give Soma a chance to sit and talk about it, nor even use his charm. James immedietly apologized.

"Soma, I'm sorry about dinner" James began to explain, walking around the room to get a glass of wine for the both of them. "I have been very stressed, and I've been feeling more and more angry" He began to pour the glasses, still going on and on. "You wouldn't know how hard it is to run the Kingdom, but I imagine you have a sense of it. However, the citizens have grown impatient with me, thinking I'm just a genie or something, or they just want to find ways to hate me. I almost defended a certain group deemed 'The Untouchables', and when I realized it, everyone stared at me. I had to make it out as a joke Soma, I feel... like a terrible King" James had finished pouring, getting some on the floor. James' somewhat tired, and serious face, turned into a saddened one.

"Heh, maybe I said too much. I'm sure I ruined the night now, with my complaining. I'm sorry, Soma" James had his back to Soma the whole time while he was pouring the glasses, and a small, salty tear, came down to his cheek. He tried to play it off. Back to my main point, I was stressed and I just took it out on the first person, which happened to be you Soma. Forgive me"

Soma would smile as he heard James say he was going to be sore when they were done, he loved it when James was able to make him sore that he couldn't walk straight for days. Once inside James' room he heard James apologize, he watched the man go over to pour them some wine as he continued explaining himself. Soma understood it all, more then James gave him credit for, sure Soma never ruled a kingdom, but he himself was the product of such a Kingdom that fell due to having a weak and powerless King. Soma knew what would happen if the other Kingdoms knew James was to kind, they would attack and that would most likely mean James sending Soma away for his safety and possibly them never seeing each other ever again, the boy didn't want that at all.

Soma walked over to James and hugged his side, looking up at him as he spoke, "You are forgiven.. And I understand hun, as much as I wish it was just about you and I you have to think about the entire Kingdom as well. Sometimes I forget this and I get upset, but you always make me feel better at the end of each and every day when you show me who you really are. The side of you no one but I get to see and admire for what it is worth." he said before letting go of James. Soma would take James' hand and place it over his heart as he smiled, "But no matter how you angry you are or how cruel you act, you will always have me by your side." he said softly.

Soma was great at doing that, making everything better with just the right words, he hated seeing his king and lover so stressed, tired, angry, but he knew he could only do so little in front of people, but when alone he could make James feel so much better. Soma smiled as he looked up at James, "Love you." was all he said as smiled at the taller man, he couldn't help but feel a little bit guilty about making James feel so bad, but he also knew that if he tried to keep it bottled up it would end badly in the end.
