Ren laughed and said" the most interesting part about it is that Asher took in a commoner child. Normally nobles and other high class people take in children from high classes or noble families. Yet the king took in a starving, dehydrated, and shocked commoner child. Truth is after being raised in a high class family I kinda forgot how it felt to live as a commoner." He let out a sigh and said" I wouldn't know where my next meal was, where my next bed was, or when I would get water but here I can eat whenever I want, sleep wherever I want, and have a drink anytime I want."

[Jashinish]

Naoki looked at Ren and tilted his head a little. "I had no idea...You and the king must've been very close..." he smiled softly and leaned back. "Asher took in my mom when she was poor... After she died, I served here and will for the rest of my life. It must've been a very good thing that he had done for you...to take a commoner child in."

[Leonidas]

Ren laughed a bit and said" ya I guess so but honestly it's all blurry. I really can't remember everything from that day and I believe it's because of the king." He crossed his arms and let out a little sigh before saying" oh well maybe it's better to just forget that day."

Naoki nodded softly at Ren and hummed. "I see...Well it's fine if you don't remember...Ignorance is a gift and sometimes it's better not to know..." He said softly and handed him a glass of water.

He grabbed it swiftly and ran his finger over the edge. He said, with narrow eyes" I don't like the idea of losing my rank. But if I can kill the people who killed my mother." His grip tightened on the glass and he said, in a low voice" I'll kill them without any hesitation." It was easy to tell that it wasn't a threat it was a promise.
