Like Father Like Son (for vampiredemon onlly)

(Just wondering because the grammar and spelling is pretty shaky, and it makes some of it a little hard to understand)

Mary sighs when her son came out with that attitude, "Honey, can't you be nice for one night?" she asks him, putting the food Joseph made in front of him and sitting down. Joseph started eating, "You can order take-out if you don't enjoy your mother's food, but I believe you prefer her cooking over mine." Joseph says, lying about who cooked it. Mary played along and said, "Now eat up, I made this really quickly just so you can do your homework before bedtime." she says, digging in.

jake sighed as he started to eat the food that he was given" mom, you going out of town for work soon?" jake asked once he finished chewing the food in his mouth.Jake had enjoyed it when his mom went out of town he could relax and not worry about things while she was away. Only now he had to deal with the new man of the house telling him what to do.

Mary nods a little, "I have a meeting in a couple of days, and I'll be staying in a hotel in Kobe for a few days. Joseph will be here, though, so you don't have to worry about being alone." She says, smiling. She keeps eating, and Joseph says, "Mary, you've outdone yourself tonight." He chuckles a little, smiling at the woman. Mary giggles like a schoolgirl and gets all flattered by the compliment.

I'm going out for some air" jake said as he stood up and departed from the table and headed out of the house.Jake could not take it when the guy was being nice to his mother" why? why does he have to be nice to her?" jake said knowing that he was jelous of his own mother for finding someone, when he himself could not find him anyone to love.Was it due to him going to all all boy school?

Joseph frowned when Jake left, "He doesn't like me..." He brooded, Mary sighing, "When I leave, you'll have time to reach out to him. Just, try acting like a father, ok?" She says, kissing him. He smiles and nods a little, "I can try." He says.

Jake returend home an hour later and headed to the kitchen to get some juice" seesm as if they went to bed" he said to himself as he stood at the counter with a glass of juice in hand.

Mary had gone to bed, but Joseph lay awake on his side of the bed. He heard Jake come back into the house, and heard the refrigerator door moving. He got up and put on a shirt, already wearing some pants, and he walked out into the hallway to see Jake drinking juice at the counter. "It's late." He says, "Is your homework done?" He asks, closing the door behind him so he doesn't wake Mary. "She'll be mad if the teacher calls about you again." He says, frowning.

" yeah well think both of you will be mad when you hear that I have been taken out of school due to getting into a fight for the second time this term" he said in a bitter toen knowing he woudl be lectured to about how bad it is getting into fights and what not. " can you please not tell her, I'll leave the house and then come back once shes gone to work. you can be my teacher if you want..." he said to his step dad not wanting it to be like this but what could he do.

Joseph sighed a little, opening his mouth to scold him, then thinking over it again. "Fine, but you don't have to leave the house. Just hide your shoes and she'll think you're gone." He says, "If they call and tell her, though, I'm not taking responsibility." He says, shrugging a little, "Go to bed, or at least, play games in your room, so you don't wake your mother up."

" do you want some jucie?" he asked the man, " and what if I disconnect the phones or delet the message?" jake asked him a she headed over to the basement door.
