Cain leaned in again and kissed the side of Jason's face gently. He knew that it would take awhile for Jason to accept his words of endearment without first thinking that he was just telling Jason what he wanted to hear, but he meant every word that he said to Jason. Jason was just so used to being treated badly by his ex that it was hard for him to accept that someone would come along and treat him so sweetly. "You want to see what I got while I was out?" he asked softly when all he heard from Jason was silence.
