Cain pulled away and smiled at him with a blissful gaze in his eyes. "I love you, baby..."
He said it with the upmost honesty. He meant every word. He laid down ontop of the redhead and fell asleep after uncuffing him from the headboard. His arms wrapped around the younger male and held him gently as he rested on him.
Jason still took some time to actually believe him, which Cain didn't mind. They did get into their arguments, all couples did, but they eventually made up and would cuddle on the couch and talk about what happened. Sex was a hard thing to deny as well and angry sex was something Jason quickly found out he liked, but not as much as the loving tender sex Cain would give him anytime Jason wanted, even when he was tired from work or from his drawings.
Jason eventually found out how dedicated Cain was to his drawing and paintings. For hours, he would sit on the couch and watch Cain at his easel with his glasses on and just watched him paint, draw, or sketch whatever was on his boss' mind. It was romantic for him, and eventually he let down his guard to let Cain draw him, just so long as he promised that he would keep it in the back room with the rest of his art supplies and not on a wall somewhere where people might see.
