Ashley shivered as soon as he felt the cold wind. Rubbing his arms he followed other vampire. When he heard the answer he looked at Destro. So he had some shreds of humanity in him? Good to know. Still the fate of Arla made him detest his master. Not really wanting to know he needed to ask that question.
"Why there is a need of test subjects?", he asked simply, trying to hide his feelings deep inside him.
When heard what Destro said he looked curiously towards the fenced area. Was other vampire serious? Dying would be the simplest way to get free from all that. Wouldn't that be a good thing?
"Feral?", he only asked.

Waiting outside and watching the gate nearby, Destro let out a soft huff when Ashley asked that next. “It’s more like test dummies.” The vampire stated while glancing at his pet and speaking again, no emotion being shown whatsoever.
“I was one my first fifty years of being a vampire. ‘Test dummies’ for vampires are meant to train skills on. For example, if one wants to learn how to hunt, they’ll make the…’dummy’ run, and then the vampire will hunt them down and usually hurt them enough to nearly drain the only blood they have. Sometimes they can be used for other things, such as seeing how far a vampire can be damaged before death. Most that take on this role die within the first decade of their lives. Although I can say from experience, maybe that’s a good thing…”
Destro saw someone coming towards them, standing up straighter and only glancing at Ashley quickly before looking ahead. “Feral vampires are the result of new vampires who have no knowledge, or have improper DNA, that creates their own vampires. This results in a feral…if you were to turn someone right now, they’d turn feral, although I know how to prevent that. This is why I sell vampires as pets, because not many actually know how to properly.” he explained while keeping his eyes on the two figures making their way over.

First fifty years? So.. it seemed other vampire wasn't like that all the time. He was made into becoming someone like that. He shuddered thinking of how it must be. Or what would happen to him if he would share the fate of Arla. Would she be strong enough to go through it? Maybe.. in this case would be better if she would die? If that was the case he was really, really lucky in this. Not saying anything he just pushed his thoughts into the back of his mind. Ashley knew he would need to think it over later on.
What was said later he didn't quite get.
"So.. Master sell new vampires to.. not to make feral ones?", he asked barely audibly yet enough loud that Destro would hear him.

As the two figures grew closer, it was clear one was the guard and the other was the feral vampire. Te guard had armor on, using a pole like leash to keep it as a distance as the feral vampire tried to bite him. Destro sighed, hearing Ashley and nodding but then shaking his head.
“Yes and no. I do it to stop people from trying to make such mindless things….but I also do it for money, power. I know some vampire who are older than me, but not many choose to do what I do…” As the feral vampire came closer, it’s attention was brought to Destro and it was clear it’s intentions weren’t as friendly as others.
“Feral’s are usually killed, but I had asked to have one brought her to me, to show you the consequences.” Looking back down at it, Destro kneeled and inspected the vampire, ignoring it’s obvious efforts of getting at him. “They don’t speak anymore. It’s almost the equivalent to a zombie, they only crave blood, they live for nothing else.” Destro whispered as he kept his eyes locked with the rabid ones before him.

Normally Ashley wouldn't ask but he somehow felt it was the right time for questions.
"But... how does it stop anyone? I understand money and power.. but what the things Master's shows by selling those who he creates? I would say it's more like showing.. it's all ok to do things like that. That's it fine to close innocent people in the labs and keep testing things on them. I don't try to talk back or be rude, Master. I'm sorry if looks like that", he said softly, looking at the feral vampire before them.

When Ashley began to speak, Destro’s eyes hadn’t left the creature before him. He only glanced back when his pet stopped speaking completely. “You can ask, as long as it’s nothing rude, or overly personal. Although…I’m not a very nice person, so when I create vampires as pets or slaves, it’s not only because I’m keeping feral vampires off the street. To me, its’ not that big of a deal, and if I can make profit off of it, I will. So what is done here isn’t humane, it’s just under control.”
Destro snapped his thoughts out of his head when the vampire before him nearly bit down on his finger, clenching his jaw and glancing up at the guard who looked rather fearful of Destro. “Be fucking careful.” he snapped.
“I’m sorry.” The man said, pulling on the feral vampire although seeming to struggling.
Destro sighed, standing up and taking a few steps back. “You’re going to lose control, we should head back.” Destro said to Ashley, about to turn around until yet again the feral vampire went to lunge forward, this time, it got loose.
“Fuck.” Destro whispered, backing up a bit but still not showing much expression. The only difference was, now his voice showed how anxious he was. “Get back inside. Now.” Destro ordered Ashley loudly.

"I still can't understand how is that keeping others from doing ferals", he said, shaking his head.
Though he didn't say anything else. Ashley flinched when the wild vampire almost got his master's finger. When he heard to get back he run. He knew there was no way for him to help in any way. His master was over century old.. so it was not his place to do anything. Tough he stopped in the doors and looked behind him, not ale to just run like that.

“I’ll explain later!” Destro spoke strongly, his voice almost sounding angry but it was more in a way to warn Ashley off. Waiting for his pet to leave, the vampire before him took notice, wanting to feel that natural instinct to ‘hunt’ it’s prey.
Although before it managed to run after Ashley, Destro quickly moved to grasp at its neck, ignoring it’s life threatening snaps of it’s teeth in the process. Looking into the things eyes, Destro shook his head and took a few seconds before going to the wall, pinning it against it and placing a hand to it’s chest.
After a few more seconds, Destro wordlessly pushed his hand forward, forcing it through the feral vampires chest, ripping out it’s heard and stepping back as it fell to the ground, dead in mere milliseconds.

Dropping the organ in his hand, Destro wiped his bloodied hand off using his jacket, glancing at the guard and scoffing. “Get out of my building. You can’t even control a feral for fucks sake.” he growled slightly. “Get rid of this before you leave...” he ordered the man before heading to the doors, freezing when he spotted Ashley.
“You could have been killed. I said to run.” Destro said, sounding upset although he barely showed it on his face. Someone could even say the way he spoke sounded like he was concerned for Ashey, although it could also be misinterpreted.

Seeing all that with his own eyes he realised how strong his master really was. When he came back and looked like that at him he didn't know what to think about it. Looking on the ground he sighed.
"I'm sorry. I.. wanted to see what would happen.. but wasn't I far enough?", he asked, looking at Destro a bit lost.
The same vampire that he knew for a bit more than two days looked in his eyes even stronger that before. It was bit disturbing.

Destro took a deep breath, passing Ashley and speaking as he rubbed his head. “Killing a vampire is simple. The heart is the weakest part, which makes sense both mentally and physically. But yes, you were far enough. But still…” Destro kept walking ahead, looking at Ashley and asking again.
“What was the question you asked earlier? Why feral vampires are created?” He wondered, still looking a bit bothered but he tried his best to hide it, not doing very well though.
