Alex's answer made Rayne furrow his eyebrows, focusing on Abigail and speaking with a little less playfulness. "I'll let you know if he chooses to have his own room. For now I think we're fine. We're heading out actually." Rayne said, trying not to sound rude but…he couldn't really help it either.

Abigail looked from one man to the other, nodding her head softly as she stepped back towards the door. "I'll be in my room if you need me then. If there are any further questions, or if you'd like to meet my son, then please, visit. I'll leave you to your…plans." Abigail bowed her head forward in respect, Rayne doing the same back.

Watching her leave, the older vampire scoffed, his arm loosening around Alex's shoulder, not even realizing how tight he was holding onto him. "She can be a little…overbearing at times. But she'll open up to you over time." Rayne released his arm off of Alex, his body a lot more relaxed now. "How about we head out then. Go to the apartment and get the parts for that computer shop." Rayne suggested.

Aleksander also didn't realise how tight he was being hold onto till the time he was let out of the muscled arms. Not sure what to think about wat just had happened hs stayed silent for some time. Then he looked at older vampire.
"What just had happened?", he asked and then added. " What did she want.. and I'm sure she is listening to our conversatio as we speak.. I sure will if some strange show up in my house.."

Rayne sighed, turning to face Alex when he asked about what had happened. Scratching his head, the vampire glanced at the door, careful with his words just in case she was in fact listening.
"Abigail does that to all newcomers. She just has to make sure you're…safe, to live here. We've had a few instances, where vampire came into the complex for very bad reasons, and she has trust issues because of it. She's just keeping an eye on us." Rayne said honestly, trying not to give away too much information with the 'incident' that happened, not until he knew for sure Abigail wasn't listening.

"Are you being careful just because she can be listening? If so.. she surely is. And I can say that she got on my nerves. Just because I had sex with you deasn't mean.. Fuck. Like that she seems just like Destro", he muttered, shaking his head. "I think I should leave.. I had few ideas for this place to get stronger but.. fuck it.."

As if someone had punched him in the gut, Rayne flinched when he heard Alex's words. It was harsh, especially when he compared her to Destro, when he didn't yet know who she was, or her past. With a deep sigh, Rayne shook his head, rubbing his temples and trying his best to explain.

"It's not like that. Alex, how the hell do you expect her to trust every person who comes in here? She didn't start this up entirely alone ya know?" Rayne glanced at the door, feeling bothered by the fact that he was speaking of this in front of her, but he had no other choice. "Abigail had her husband of fifty years killed in front of her, because of someone we brought in here, someone that we trusted. The man was about to go after her son. You have no idea how hard that was to her."

Rayne felt himself shake, realizing he was getting upset. Abigail's child felt like family to him, a younger brother he never had, or more…a brother he wish he had. It was one thing to deface Rayne, but to have someone compare someone he looked up to as a mother figure, and comparing that to Destro…it was just insulting.
"First impressions are never as they seem. Grow up Alex." Rayne then said, in a low, hushed voice.

Stepping to the side, so the door was in view, Rayne had high expectations that Aleksander would leave. It wasn't his decision to keep him here, so if the vampire wanted to get out, then so be it. It wasn't what Rayne wanted but who gave him the right to stop another man from having his own free will?

Alex cronged a bit and looked on his knees. He felt like someone hit him but he knew Rayne was right. He said a bit too much. Comparing anyone to Destro would always be too much. How could anyone to know what he felt without him telling all that shit that.. He stopped himself. So.. he destroyed it all already? Quite fast. He was always with things like that in any of his relationships.
"D-do..", he paused, realising he was stuttering and only continued when he was sure he wouldn't sound so damn pathetic. "Sorry. I'll leave.."
Standing up he headed to the doors.
"I'm sorry.."
That muttered he walked out. He didn't stop till he was out of the building. As soon as he was he stopped, feeling like someone knocked out air out of his lungs.

Rayne wasn't expecting that to happen…not at all. As he heard Alex apologize, the older vampire was frantic, his mind slightly going in all directions as he went to leave the room. His body stood stiff in shock, and as he was about to speak he found no words. Something inside Rayne felt…like it was aching, and for some reason it was really bothering him.

After a few moments, he then walked out the doors, heading out to see if he could find his boyfriend. How stupid to be so rude..he could have at least explained it a little better. Although the moment Rayne stepped outside and saw Alex, someone had beat him to it.

Just as they had thought, Abigail was listening in, and the moment she heard Aleksander heading out, she followed until the young vampire stopped in his tracks. She slowed down, being very unhurried, careful, unknowing of Alex's emotions as she stopped the moment she stood behind him. Taking a soft breath in, Abigail closed her red eyes, speaking softly as the wind blew gently, her brown hair moving as she spoke.
"You have lots of potential. Rayne has been speaking highly of you for months, since he saw you in the alley, and recently when you had helped the people in the labs to escape." Opening her eyes, Abigail looked at Alex and smiled, although the expression seemed almost..foreign on her, as if she didn't know how to smile without forcing it onto her face. "Rayne and I don't want you to leave. The only thing I ask of you if you wish to live here, is that you help me gain your trust. And over these months, as I've been hearing the man behind me ramble on about you each moment he gets, I have a strong feeling that Rayne doesn't want you to leave either. Ultimately it's your decision, although you should know you are welcomed. We don't turn our backs on anyone, unless they turn their backs on us first."

Rayne glared at the woman's back, saying such things like that so openly. The conversations with her were just as a mother would have with her son, although once in a while Abigail brought up Alex, and they spoke of him. It wasn't like Rayne was literally rambling on like a school girl that had a crush. For the time being, he stood at the doors, his eyes on both figures, anxiously waiting to see what would happen without interrupting, no matter how badly he wanted to.

Stopping he sighed and rubbed his forehead. Great.. So.. what now? What he was supposed to do? He didn't have anywhere else to go.. and no one to turn to. And of course he shouldn't say that.. Just something in woman's reaction ticked him off.. and then he said too much. That is why it's better to stay silent or not to talk at all. Hearing someone;s voice the young vampire jumped and.. was about to attack but saw who that was and stopped himself.
As he continued to listen what was said first he was stunned and then embarrassed. With himself.. and hearing just how much other male was talking about him. He rubbed his neck, looking down. Then he remembered the tattoo that other put on him, and those pirecings.. and few other things.
"I'm... I'm sorry..", he said softly, looking a bit like a reprimanded child.

Abigail looked at Alex, giving him a soft look when she heard him apologize. "You're forgiven." She spoke in a soft voice.

Abigail then took a step back, noticing Rayne was walking forward. She tilted her head in his direction, knowing she could speak with them another time. Instead, she returned inside and Rayne went over to his boyfriend, slowly and almost cautiously wrapping his arms around Aleksander's body, pulling him against himself.
"I don't want you to leave. Will you come back inside with me?" Rayne asked beneath his breath, his voice soft, and rather calm, although it was clear there was an edge in his voice that bordered with concern.

As warm, muscled arms wrapped around he tensed up a bit but then sighed and leaned his head on other's chest. He only nodded, feeling his cheeks getting all warm. Alex knew he was rude and done an idiot of himself.. and yet he was taken back and forgiven. Damn it.. How pathetic. Yet.. he knew it was a resault of those months being trapped and used.. being merely an object. Being tortured, punished and humiliated. But yet.. it didn't mean he could act like that. Being displeased with himself he knew it would take some time for him to heal all the wounds he got through those months.
