Mark of Darkness [private for me and RedRose4]

As he heard Olivia speaking it became a bit clearer what he needed to do. Calming himself down he focused only on Ket's heart beat. How it rised. It... felt kind of intimate but he understood at last as the other sounds started to fade away.. leaving only them two.
"Okay. I got it. We can try once again", he said softly, taking few steps away.
Then he tried to locate other male.. and let his instincts act. He marked the hard frontal kick at where he thought other male was. Ashley was almost sure.. but it still was a bit hard to do it like Olivia said.

"Me too." Ket mumbled back softly, his body slowly moving back for a moment before reacting, not fast enough to get away from the attack though. It managed to hit his left ribcage, making Ket stumble bit before smirking since Ashley actually got a hit in. "You got me." Ket whispered, smiling more and listening to the others heart, taking a deep breath and then yet again trying to see if he could get one in as well.
Sidestepping, Ket clenched his jaw and used his fist to hit directly towards Ashley's diaphragm, at least that's where his intended target was, unsure if he got it or not, Ket moved once more, trying to use some of his agility despite that being one of the things he struggled in. Someone that was muscular and was better with his hands than his legs lacked in stealth, so he had to try a bit harder than Ashley would have.

Ashley grinned when he felt and heard he got other male.. though soon he gasped, feeling the strong punch connecting with his stomach. It knocked the air out of his lungs. Knowing he should felt.. or heard it comming he sighed... though almost immediately attacked back with the hooking knee strike, aiming for others side. He knew it probably would hit... unless Ket would jump away right after getting his punch in.

Ket could hear the steady increase of Ashley's heartbeat, making it easy for him to target him now. The others in the room who were fighting had much more irregular and quick, Ashley on the other hand had a much more...steady heartbeat, even as it got faster it was so much different than the others, more rhythmic and less disoriented.
Not getting out of the way in time, Ket let out a faint groan of pain as he felt his knee making contact with his body, although despite that he yet again smiled. Ket wanted Ashley to do well, and getting hit by him just showed he was doing that. Following up the attack with his own, Ket reached forward, grasping Ashley's shoulder tightly and using the opposite hand to attempt to grasp his wrist so he could dislocate his arm, although Ket doubted he'd be able to do that. Even Ashley would predict what was about to happen, so instead he switched it up and changed his mind, targeting a much more needed area of his body. Ducking down slightly, Ket finally used his leg to swipe beneath Ashley in an attempt to knock him off his feet, still moving as he did to ensure he wouldn't be caught off gaurd.

On the other side Ashley was a bit struggling with hearing other male. Somehow.. it was hard. Though he knew he could do it.. he didn't know if now would be the time he would manage it. Maybe that was why he actually got swept out of his feet and hit the floor. Hard. Letting out a painful gasp he reached to his head and massaged it a bit.
"Damn.. you got me..", sighed Ashley, deciding to stay on the ground for few seconds... only to try and hit others male feet and get him on the ground as well.

When Ket heard the sound of Ashley hitting the ground, he smirked cockily but suddenly felt himself falling, face first. His nose stopped the fall, a crack being heard as he let out a hiss of pain and reached for his bloody nose, laying right beside Ashley while he slipped off the blindfold and looked at his now red hand.
"Fuck Ash." Ket laughed, impressed again by the man as he just laid there, resting and breathing faster than normal, but not panting. Reaching with his unbloodied hand, Ket removed Ashley's blindfold and smiled. "You did good...I'll look forward to fighting more often. Actually, can I talk to you after class for a bit?" Ket asked. It wouldn't be long, he himself had a Master who wasn't the most patient, although he wasn't as strict as Ashley's. Even with that in mind, it would be stupid to keep them both later than necessary, so Ket made sure to keep in mind it would be quick.

Ashley was a bit surprised when his blindfold was taken off and then chuckled seeing other male on the floor with bloodied nose. He surprisngly discovered a good thing of being a vampire - he didn't need to care that other male was bleeding, knowing that he soon would recover from it.
"Only if it will be quick... I don't wish to be punished", he said with a small smile, pushing away memories of the last day. "Though I wouldn't mind talking a bit more.."
With a soft sigh he rised from the floor and then extended his hand to other male, offering help with standing up.

Ket nodded slowly, looking up at the ceiling for a moment before sighing. "Yeah, I wouldn't want to either, but you can stay after class for an hour so we can talk for a bit then...or now." Ket suggested. Once Ashley got up and offered a hand, he used his clean one to grasp a hold and stand up, muttering a soft, "Thanks.", before wiping his hand along his pants, his nose already stopped bleeding by now as the skin and bone began to heal.

"How about now? The others are being evaluated, I can ask now so neither of us can get in trouble later on?" Ket wondered, his eyes focusing on the others nearby. It was almost laughable how they were compared to himself and Ashley, but of course they were learning, they'd eventually become skilled over the years.

"Sure. That sounds good. I actually crave for some normal talk and all... It was hard.. Are you a new vampire.. or you are a bit older?", asked Ashley, remembering that there could be even five years old vampires. "And... Olivia wouldn't say no.. right?"
Ashley was actually excited with a vision of normal talk. With someone... normal. Rubbing his arm he looked at Ket and then Olivia, instructing some other vampires.

Ket rested against the wall, sighing in relief from his body finally being completely healed before looking back at Ashley and smirking as he answered his questions with ease. "I've been a vampire for four and a half years now, although I was turned at the age of thirty-two." Ket sighed, touching his jaw and gently scratching his stubble.
"And no, she doesn't mind at all. Olivia just doesn't want us talking during certain fights...but since we put on a good show, I think we're safe." Ket smirked once more and looked ahead at the others once more. He resisted a laugh when one of the other students fell on his ass and Olivia scolded him for not looking at his partner. Ket obviously enjoyed watching as others fought, mostly because it was amusing how bad they were.
