The man screamed when the knife was used like that. Ashley on the other hand moved away when the sharp object was taken from him and flinched seeing what Destro made with it. It was okay.. it was his business how to end the thing. Blinking he tried to stand up but just hissed and resigned. Probably in fifteen minutes of so he would be fine.. but for now it wasn't possible to stand on that foot.
"Is he dead?", asked Ashley calmly.

It took only a few seconds for Destro to notice the mans heart slowing down until it stopped completely, bleeding to death in less than a minute due to the heart being punctured so violently. Looking over at Ashley when he asked that, Destro slowly stood up, looking at his arm and sighing, noticing it was still pretty bad, but it healed enough to slow down the amount of blood coming out from it.
"Yes, he's dead." Destro looked around, making sure no one saw before he leaned over and picked the body up with ease. "I'll dispose of him..probably cremation to hide it easier." Destro said while waking forward. "How's your injury?" He asked, wanting to make sure his pet wasn't going to die from the lack of blood in his system.

"It's hurting and bleeding.. but should be fine", he said, trying to stand up once again.
Gritting his teeth he managed to do that but if he would want to walk.. he would need to jump on one foot. With a soft sigh he looked at Destro.
"I can't walk right now", stated Ashley, not really caring what would older demon had to say about it.
He couldn't.. and that was it. His body needed a bit more time to regenerate to wound enough to do that.

Destro took a few more steps until looking back at Ashley and then sighing when he said he couldn't walk. It made sense of course, he was injured someplace way worse than an arm. Nodding his head, Destro looked at the nearby building, and then back at Ashley. "Fine...stay here, I'll be right back."
The older vampire held the body and moved rather quickly, not wanting to leave Ashley alone and injured too long since others could be nearby, not knowing if maybe there was backup, or...possibly just another person wanting to kill him.

As he got to the doors, Destro told a guard what to do with the body, where it came from, and why he did it. Once the guard nodded and went inside to dispose of it, Destro headed back towards Ashely within a few short minutes, standing before his pet and breathing hard. "Still can't walk?..." There was a pause, a long pause until the demon rubbed his head and spoke. "I'll carry you if I must. How did your belongings hold up?" Destro then mumbled, his voice holding some anger, and irritation compared to before, but it wasn't because of Ashley, it was most likely due to the fight. Because of that, Destro seemed to be relaxing slowly, but still felt uneasy from nearly being killed, if it weren't for Ashley.

Before Ashley was able to stop Destro he was gone.. making the pain radiating from every part of his body. Twenty feet damn it.. and out of the sight. The pain was awful and made Ashley fell on the ground. When it stopped to hurt he knew other male was back. Looking up at him he sighed softly.
"That hurt, Master", he said only and then touched his leg. "Is it possible.. that it won't heal? Because it's not getting better.. and maybe there are 'spells' like the one on the ring.. that make it impossible to hear? Or some.. poison?"
Looking at Destro's arm he saw it was slowly getting better. With a small frown he took off his shoe and sock and frowned seeing the sides of the cut were a bit black.

When Destro returned and heard Ashley say that, the vampire cursed under his breath, actually forgetting about that. "I didn't intend to do that...." He was going to apologize, but ended up just forgetting about it and looking at Ashley's wound. Crouching down, Destro furrowed his eyebrows and inspected it, glancing at his own wound and humming softly. It was fine...healing without a problem but Ashley's wasn't...
"It has to be something on the blade. It seems your body isn't healing...maybe because your body is so new and going through such a change right now, it's susceptible to something like this." Destro looked slightly confused for a moment before putting his arms under Ashley.
"I'm carrying you, we'll bring you to the medics." Destro mumbled while hoisting him up, flinching slightly from his arm but going through the pain.

Ashley gasped being lifted up all of a sudden. And it was Destro doing it for him. Carrying him in his arms. If someone would say it's the end of the world today he wouldn't be much more surprised than right now. Not commenting on it in any way he just stayed calm.. or at least as calm as he could considering he got himself a wound that didn't want to heal. Frowning he asked himself if the medics were the same people that tested things on new slaves. He sure hoped that wasn't the truth.

Despite being a little reluctant, Destro had to bring Ashley to the infirmary, if not he'd be outside unable to walk. Shaking his head, the vampire got through the doors, walking to his destination and looking at the medics who looks to be doing nothing. It wasn't like vampires got sick often, so Destro didn't look that upset when he walked in on them talking to one another.
"I'm in need of assistance." He spoke, gaining the attention of the male and female before them.

"Right away sir." The woman said first, noticing Ashley and walking to the nearest room where Destro brought him. "Lay him down here...what's wrong?"
"Wound isn't healing. Someone attacked me, he defended me, got hurt in the process. It seems that the injury was meant to be inflicted upon me but he got the first hit, and now it's not healing." Destro explained once he put Ashley onto the small hospital bed, leaning back against the wall and watching to see what would happen.

The male doctor walked in seconds after, hearing what Destro said and nodding his head. "Alright, get a few bags of blood, just to be safe. Let me check..." The man had a name tag on his scrubs reading 'Dr.Ezra', one of the oldest vampires other than Destro that actually lived in the building. Lifting Ashley's pant leg, Ezra eyed the wound and spoke aloud. "I think I've seen something like this but...it's hard to tell." He looked at Ashley and finally spoke to him. "Is the poison making it feel worse?" he wondered as he grabbed a few things from the cabinet nearby.

When they went inside some room Ashley looked on the two there.. and then around. Not saying anything he just listened to what was being said. Reading the name tag of the doctor he then gasped at the pain radiating from his foot.
"I don't know.. it just gives be that burning feeling.. and it hurts now more than ealier", he said, trying to be calm.
From the young vampire face there could barely be seen any of his feelings.. just his eyes betrayed what he was feeling right now.

Dr.Ezra inspected the wound again when he came over, putting glasses on in front of his green eyes and squinting slightly at what he saw. "It's almost as though over time it begins to absorb into the bloodstream. It's black because your tissue cells are dying. We'll have to do this quick. Dr.Kestran, hook up the blood and give me something to numb the pain."
Dr.Ezra looked up at Ashley and began to explain what he was going to do. "I'll numb it before doing anything extensive. After that, I'll have to take a sample of this poison and inspect it under the microscope, I might be able to identify it under closer inspection. Then...it'll be rather painful getting it all out. I apologize in advance."

Destro's eyes were on Ashley, curiously eyeing the wound and wondering just how bad it felt. He himself almost preferred if he was the one who got it, not because he felt bad for Ashley....but because he wanted to know the sensation of the poison, and it was meant for him in the first place, so would he handle it? Looking into Ashley's eyes, Destro could easily see something was hidden in them, something that he wasn't portraying with words or actions. Clearly it wasn't a pleasant experience, and it wasn't going to get any better.
