"Next!" Denkou announced, while browsing through that damn script. Some crappy commercial about dog food this time. The costume looked like hell, the actors were without talent, and the lines were really cheesy. In fact, the entire concept was flawed. It was more like a freak show, than a commercial. He sighed, looking at the next actor who came on stage, dressed in that awful costume. "It's going to be a very long day" he thought, signaling the man he could begin.

Akia finally made his way to the office place he'd been the day before, Panting slightly as he walked into the building. He got a few glances as he made his way through the crowded overpass. "U-um..D-denkou?" he called as he got to the edge of the stage. He didn't want to be rude, but he still needed to see the guy, and if he just stood there and waited, something could happen and cause him to be unable to ask the guy out!

He waited until the filming crew and the actor left the stage, then walked up to Akia. He couldn't believe the young man had actually come looking for him. "What is it, Akia. Is something wrong?"

Akia fiddled a bit as he watched a few people glance his way before seeing Denkou walking over to him, Taking in a deep breath he waited until he calmed down a bit before looking up at the other. "Well, your phone wasn't on when I tried calling you last night. And you never gave me a house number so I couldn't call that. But..I wanted to see if you wanted to go out...tonight" he said, his voice trailing off as he spoke. "I mean, I understand if you don't but..."

Akia's request came as quite a shock to Denkou. After last night's disastrous show, he began having serious doubts about pursuing a relationship with him. He figured he wasn't Akia's type at all. But if that was true, then why did he show up again, asking him out? Was Akia under the impression he'd wounded Denkou's ego? If so, was this his way of trying t mend that shattered pride? Or could it be that he was actually up to no good? Could this invitation actually be a malicious prank Akia had in store for him?

I've never done anything like that...b...but I really did want to try....being with you, and I realized, after you dropped me off, that I do want a relationship with you...if you still want it..." he said fidgeting. "b-but if you'd rather have someone with more experience....sorry for bothering you" He said feeling a bit hurt now.

"Shhh" Denkou urged him, taking his hand and showing him back stage. "I'm sorry, but my staff are quite curious and nosy people, not to mention blabber mouths, so I wanted us to talk somewhere private.

He took a few moments, studying Akia's appearance in detail. He didn't seem like a vicious prankster, nor like a person who had ulterior motives, or a hidden agenda of sorts. Not to mention the feel of having the young man's hand in his. It was so warm, and soft. No, he couldn't be lying.

"I'm really flattered by you asking me out, and I'll honor your request, but I'm not sure if I'm the right man for you." Denkou whispered, letting his head down, in shame.

Akia was a bit confused as he was lead away from the stage to the back, his head tilting to the side as he listened to the other explain why they moved as well as giving him a once over, that same warm feeling from the other day rushing throw him at the notice of the others gaze on his body. He wanted to tell him that he really did want to try this. But before he could, Denkou said something about them not being a perfect match. "b...but" Akia began before pressing his lips together and take a step back. "I might have messed up last night, but I though you would give me a second chance....I thought you were different, really wanting to date not just....maybe I was wrong to come here." he said as tears filled his eyes. "I'm sorry for bothering you at work." with that he took off, Running out of the building...Honestly he didn't know where he was going. His chest was hurting for some reason. He'd finally given in and allowed himself to fall for someone, and they turned him down after a bad night....

"No, Akia, wait!" Denkou shouted, reaching out to stop him, but the young man just took off, faster than a speeding bullet. The man sighed, running after him, however, Akia was pretty fast, even for him. He felt like an idot, while huffing and puffing like a madman, trying to catch up with the young man. Akia must have felt rejected, unwanted. He even burst into tears, before turning around and running away.
He ran out of the building, catching a glimpse of Akia, as he was crossing the street. Denkou wanted to go after him, but the light suddenly turned red, and he had to stop.
“Akia!” he shouted, hoping the young man would hear him. Those damn cars!
