As Yukio's alarm clock rang he instantly got up and put on his glasses then looked at his sibling who was still sleeping in his bed.He lightly shook Rin's shoulder but it didn't seem like he'd wake up.

A soft sigh escaped Yukio's lips as he crawled over him and out of his bed,figuring he'll let his brother sleep until he made breakfast or so. The male brushed his teeth,got dressed,made a light breakfast for himself and Rin but his brother was still not awake.

He sighed in frustration as he walked back to the bedroom and shook Rin,failing to wake him once again. He took the alarm clock and set it to ring in less than five minutes and after gathering his paperwork Yukio left to go to the academy early as always.He would ask Rin about last night when he got back in the evening.

Rin just ignored all his brother's tries of waking him up. He seemed to be even more tired than he usually was so he couldn't get himself to wake up properly. Besides he never really was punctual anyways so why start with it today?

At some point though Rin finally woke up and even managed to get up washed and dressed. He was plenty late already but still he seemed so calm, not a care in the world as he walked to school to attend at least the rest of the day.

The rest of the day was normal like any other. Yukio attended his class and was teaching a few classes as usual.Though at break time he went to check if Rin made it to the first lesson but no,the teacher reported he wasn't present,same after the second lesson.After the third lesson Yukio didn't even check anymore.He couldn't believe that his brother was so irresponsible.
But on the other hand,he should have did a better job trying to wake him.

Honestly,Yukio spent the rest of the day thinking about his brother.Sneaking into his bed,oversleeping,not showing up in class.He wasn't even sure himself was he worried or irritated.He just wanted to go home and find out.But in the evening,when he returned Rin was nowhere to be found. Hours passed and it became dark even and no Rin.It was dinner time already though Yukio wasn't thinking about food at a time like this.

The door creaked slightly as Rin opened and shut it. He was panting and wincing as he walked along the hallway leading to the room he shared with his brother. It was already late though he couldn't really help it. Especially with his limbs feelings so numb from the fight he got himself into.

"Oi I'm home!" He said smiling and sounding as though nothing was wrong and walking into their room with few blood stains and some bruises covering his whole body. It wasn't really his fault. That Bon guy just got on his nerves and always starts fighting with him. And now it escalated a bit, whatever he is still fine.

As Yukio heard the door open he stood and went to the hall but as he saw his brother all wounded he gasped softly. "W-what happened to you?!" he asked loudly.

He was just about to scold him but at the moment he was more concerned about the wounds that were covering Rin's body.

He laughed softly and scratched the back of his head a bit embarrassed. "Oh it's fine. I just got in a fight with Bon. It looks worse then it is." Rin said trying to calm his brother down. He was actually surprised that he wasn't scolded right away.

Yukio actually sounded concerned which just surprised him all the more. Did he really look that bad that his brother out of all people was so concerned. Normally he would nag and just treat his wounds but it was a bit different this time.

"What's with you and him-" he stopped before he could finish his sentence. "Tch,I don't even care,come over here." Yukio beckoned his sibling to fallow as he went and got out a first aid kid from a cabinet.

This was almost nostalgic in a way.When they were younger Rin would manage to get himself somehow injured and Yukio would always be the one treating his wounds.Supposedly not much has changed.

Rin sighed and nodded as he followed his brother. He knew what was going to happen now so he sat down on a chair and took of his jacket and shirt. Instead of caring for the clothes he just tossed them aside.

"Kinda like the old days huh?" Rin joked as he chuckled softly. He was always glad to see that even though Yukio has changed and seems more mature he still can be like in the past. The feeling of nostalgia was really pleasant.

Yukio sat down next to his brother and opened up the first aid kit and got out some basic tools that he needed. He took some clean cotton and got it damp with some wound disinfection liquid.He had to make sure they didn't get infected even if it might sting.He also used some tweezers to hold the cotton rather than use his fingers.

He reached out for Rin's hand,during all this he didn't say a word but he did agree.It indeed was nostalgic.He took a hold of his brothers hand and began applying the medicine on the wounds.

"Why were you late?" suddenly he asked in a low and serious tone.

Rin smiled softly as he watched his brother prepare everything to treat his wounds. He winced slightly at the sting of the disinfection on his skin. That's how it always was though he knew that it was alright and needed for the bruises to heal properly.

"Late for what? School? Or now? Well I guess I was late for school because I overslept and now...um I...I had something to do and then there was the fight with Bin too." Rin replied feeling concerned himself since his brother never really asked for the reason of whatever he had done. "Could it be you were worried about me?" He asked teasingly though he winced again as it hurt a bit more.
