Giving another single nod, Vic watched Deiru leave the room and continued to do his work. Four hours passed slowly, and when the young demon had returned, Vic was standing alongside a pile of paperwork and sorting it out. He looked back at Deiru, eyeing his clothes and smirking.
"Well...Kaden was right about you." He mumbled to himself while opening the dresser again, taking out the money and handing it over to Deiru. "Thanks for your work, it seems you're a good asset." Vic said, his voice not as cold as earlier. It didn't take very long for him to open up to other people. "Let Kaden know you did a good job."

In the apartment, Kaden was awake and getting up to grab a drink and a small snack. He ignored the fact that the cookies were cold and ate the leftovers, grabbing his clothes and sorting it out, getting ready for the date. Kaden kept glancing at the door, waiting for Deiru to return and of course he had a little bit of concern inside of him. Who wouldn't care about their boyfriend chasing after killers?

"Yes? Well.. good for him", he said with a small grin and took the money. "To the next. Good day."
He knew the other one's would need some more research. After all he was just lucky with those two. But it was nice to have some cash on himself and relax with the kills. Deiru did like to kill.. but it was a bit nicer with the thought he was getting really bad guys. Not that he didn't ealier.. but as Kaden said - he couldn't be sure.

He almost run to the apartment, really happy he would be able to go out. He was a bit tired and the second guy gave him a nice cut on his stomach but other than that he was fine.. and quite excited with their going out and a date.
"I'm back", he said and he headed to the bedroom after taking off his shoes. "Can you heal me?"
There was also a need to wash himself and change the clothes, bloodied with his last target.

Kaden wasn't getting dressed, at least not yet. Instead he slipped his boxers on and walked around his apartment like that, getting a few things and trying to figure out where they might go after Deiru got back. As if right on time, Kaden looked towards the door and sighed in relief, smiling wide when he saw Deiru coming into the room like that.
"Hey...shit." Kaden's smile left when he noticed his stomach, getting onto his knees before his boyfriend and lifting it up to see the cut along his perfect skin, nearly touching his tattoo. Scowling, Kaden ran his fingers along the wound and closed his eyes, whispering a few things before speaking to Deiru.
"Fucker, hope he paid for hurting you." Kaden mumbled before then peeking his eyes open and eyeing Deiru again. "You get hurt anywhere else?" He asked, not seeing much with the blood on him.

"Nope. I'm fine other that. Thanks. Fucker kicked a chair into my legs and made me trip. Though he still wasn't hard. And I got paid for his head. Also I know from where you took your character. Your boss is quite like you", he said and chuckled. "I need to take a shower and change clothes and we are fine to go."
That said he headed to the bathroom and took of hic clothes and stepped under the shower. In twenty minutes he was ready and put on a clean clothes.
"Your boss said to tell you I did a good job", he said after he lit a cigarette.
Deiru was ready to go.

Kaden was glad to hear it was the only injury, in fact Deiru was lucky that was the only one. When he mentioned Vic, Kaden then smiled and looked up at the younger demon as he shook his head and sighed. "I can't blame you on that, he's like a father figure to me...I got his serious side after the years." He mumbled, mainly focused on the task of healing Deiru until he took his hands away once he was done.

While he showered, Kaden began to put his clothes on. It was mostly all black. Black jeans with a white studded belt and basic black t-shirt. He could have dressed more fancy but he decided not to 'act' with Deiru, if he wanted to dress casual thats what he'd do.
Kaden glanced at Deiru and smirked when he saw he was done as well. "Ready to go?" he asked while walking over to him.

When he looked at Kaden he grinned.
"Damn.. You look quite sexy in that. Also talking with me about father figure..", he paused and thought about all the things that came up into his mind when he was talking a shower. ".. is quite of pointless with me. Of course I know what it is.. but it is quite abstract to me.."

Kaden had a cocky smile on his face before shaking his head. "Not as sexy as you." He whispered, his fingers grasping at Deiru's hips before then looking into his eyes when he said that. "What do you mean?" he wondered with a furrowed brow, not understanding what he meant by all of that exactly.
"What's on your mind?" Kaden whispered again, in a softer tone.

He chuckled and then the huffed softly when he was the warm finger grasped onto his hips.
"And it is simple. I don't know what is father as well as father figure. I just don't know it. Also..", he paused as he glanced at the his dirty clothes. "..shouldn't they go to the washing machine? It's quite dirty.."

Understanding what he meant, Kaden frowned a bit before kissing Deiru's head. "Hm, well father figures are just men you see as someone you care a lot for...but not romantically, which is how I see Vic. He means a lot to me, taught me a lot in life, but if he ever put a hand on me I'd probably break his arm. I've done it before and I regret it." Kaden smiled against Deiru's head and nodded.
Grabbing his clothes, he walked over to the washing machine and threw it inside, deciding to wash whatever was inside. Ever since Deiru came into the house, it seemed laundry always needed to be done at the end of the way, and Kaden knew it was mostly his own fault.

"You broke his arm? He was into you?", he asked, his green eyes widening. "Seriously?"
Watching Kaden making his way to the washing machine he followed him and then chuckled. Rubbing his neck he shook his head.
"I guess you are the closest to any family member I had. You and your sister with Akazu..", he said, looking away while clearly embarrassed. "Quite strange, huh?"
