The real side of Gray (private for Dablackstallion and myself)

Gray didn't do anything as he let Natsu hit him as much as he wanted and when Natsu finally stopped he winced with only one move as he sighed and looked up at the sky, as he felt stupid when he heard what natsu said, " ....igneel........father.....the fire dragon igneel your father.....im sorry .." he mumbled as he felt sad that he forget that as he was not doing anything to push Natsu off him or hit him back, " ....mountains..." he said as he wanted to help Natsu , " i...i need to do the request that's all Natsu... do you want that i will be kicked out of the guild!!" he yelled at him as he looked away, it was true he needed to complete at least a request today if he didn't he would be expelled from the guild he heard that from laxus, " master would kick me out if i will not complete this one at least laxus told me that, you need to let me do this Natsu!" he said to him, " as to where the dragon is spotted, is at the mountains he said as he let the ice melt away and draw the route on the piece of paper and showed it to Natsu, " there he is " he said as he pointed at the mountain " im sorry i know how you feel natsu , but the chance is high that there is another dragon and not igneel, i don't want that you would be disappointed" he said to Natsu

Natsu's eyes lit up when he heard Gray mention the mountains. "Thank you Gray!" Natsu hugged the cold body of Gray. But then he heard Gray mention he had to kill the dragon. "N-No! You can't Gray. I don't care if it's not Igneel, you can't kill them. What if it's Wendy's dragon, or Gajeel's? There's tons of us Dragon Slayers looking for our parents, you can't just kill someone's parents!" Natsu said, pounding a fist into the concrete floor beneath him, cracking it.

"If...if you killed it, then you'd be no better than Deliora." Natsu said, knowing that would click with Gray.

Gray looked with wide eyes at Natsu as he gripped his hands to fist as he heard the name Deliora, " DON'T SAY HIS NAME!!!! he killed my parents!!! and he killed Ul if she didn't protect me i was also dead! don't ever say that name again NATSU!" he shouted as he looked away, " it was my fault that Ul died" he mumbled as he sighed, " i.....i will not kill the dragons," he said as he turned a bit red when Natsu hugged his cold body " your welcome.. natsu" he said as he was feeling strange when Natsu was hugging him but he shook the thoughts away. " shall we go then?" he asked natsu as he waited on natsu to go off him.

Natsu stayed there, receiving Gray's harsh words. He did nothing but accept them. Normally Natsu would shoot back, but this was a personal matter. He knew how Gray felt, and it was amazing that both of them could sympathize with one another. "Thanks Gray...I knew you'd understand." Natsu said. "You're a great friend." Natsu mumbled underneath his breath, not wanting Gray to hear it. He knew if he did, Gray would never let him hear the end of it.

Natsu stood up and began walking off, his goofy smile back on his face. "To the mountains!!" Natsu shouted as he pointed towards the vista in the distance. He walked his normal goofy walk as he thought to himself, he might actually see his father today.

Gray smiled and stood up as he nods " how could i not understand it if i was in the same place as you then i guess you would do the same for me too so you don't need to thank me" he said as he didn't hear what Natsu said, " well i must say...y....nothing" he said quickly as he looked to the other way as he quickly followed Natsu as he nods, " but before that i have an idea maybe , " he said as he thought about it and smirked, " natsu i want you to use your roar of the fire dragon on me" he said as he was ready to use a special ice make magic as he was hoping for Natsu that the dragon would be igneel Natsu's father

Natsu looked at Gray confused. "Why?!" Natsu asked in his normal annoyed tone. He gave a loud "humph", crossing his arms as he continued to look at Gray with confusion. He figured the sooner he did what Gray told him, the faster they would depart for the mountains, which means the faster they would possibly see Igneel. "Fine you stupid icicle. If that's what you want." Natsu planted his feet firmly into the floor as he took in a deep breath. "Roar of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu yelled out as he shot out a large puff of flame at Gray.

Gray sighed as Natsu acted annoyed towards him and called him stupid icicle " hm im only doing this for you stupid flame breather" he mumbled as he quickly used a special ice make magic and sealed the large puff of flame into the ice make cube and when it was done he gave it to Natsu as he glared at him, " hm here, then you have something to give igneel when you see him" he said in is cocky tone as he continued to walk as it was his way to say that he was happy to be friends with Natsu and he didn't want that Natsu would see igneel with nothing it would be better if he had something so that igneel could always remember natsu " hey flame brain! are you coming now or are you staying there all day" he asked

Natsu looked as Gray easily encased the puff of fire in a large block of unmeltable ice. He was surprised, he knew Gray was strong, but strong enough to freeze fire? That was new. He watched as Gray walked off towards the mountains, calling him to join him. Natsu struggled to lift up the large ice cube, hurling it onto his back as he tried to catch up to Gray. "Gray you asshole! How do you expect me to walk so fast when I have to carry a frigging tonne of ice?" Natsu shouted back at the ice mage. It was awfully nice of Gray to do this for him, give him a gift to give Igneel.

Gray smirked as he looked at Natsu , " oh do you need help then don't tell me that you are that weak natsu" he said as he smiles a bit at Natsu before looking away as he continued to walk but now slower so that Natsu could be able to walk next at him as he puts his hands in his pants "so um.. how is igneel like? is he nice or could he be very scary to others?" he asked as he didn't want to come there if Igneel would just attack him. when they finally arived at the foot of the mountain he stopped suddenly as he needed to rest as he sit down he used too much magic powers to make that present for Natsu that natsu could give to igneel as he panted heavily but decided that there is no time for resting as he stood up again, " let's go to the highest place on the mountain and search for igneel! i know it that it needs to be igneel " he said with a smile at Natsu before walking up the mountain

Natsu got angry once more when Natsu teased him. "I'll show you who's weak!" Natsu yelled as he tried to move faster, but only failed. Climbing the mountains only became more difficult to traverse with the huge block of ice on his back. " Natsu was a bit shocked at Gray's question about Igneel. He had never thought about it before. What was Igneel like?

"Well, he's really kind, but super strong. He had cool, sharp fangs, and a really long tail and huge flapping wings. He has scales and he can breath lots of fire." Natsu continued, sounding like a kid talking about his idol, "And he's really ferocious around people he doesn't know, but super nice to the one's he does know. And...and..yeah, that's Igneel." Natsu said smiling. He saw Gray sit down for rest, but Natsu didn't bother, he kept walking. Gray would catch up to him anyways. As a result, Natsu reached the top of the mountain first and dropped the ice cube on to the ground.

He scanned the mountains for any signs of dragons. "I can't believe it..." Natsu said as he heard Gray approach. He turned around to face Gray, tears in his eyes. "He...he's not here...NO ONE'S HERE!!!" Natsu yelled. This request had turned out to be just another dud.
