The real side of Gray (private for Dablackstallion and myself)

Gray smiled as he listened when Natsu explained what igneel was like, Natsu was sounding happy and proud when he was talking about it as it made him happy somehow to see Natsu like that as he then approached on the top of the mountain and looked at Natsu and blushes as he shook his head , " no this can't be true, there is a dragon here i just know it!" he said as he looked around but he didn't saw a dragon as he sighed and looked at Natsu , " ...sorry... natsu.." he mumbled as he sighed and bit his lip, " i promise i will find him when i will come back then i promise you that i will come together with igneel just wait on me in the guild until i will be back okay?" he asked as he felt like it was his fault that Natsu was so disappointed. as he then got a weird feeling, " wait natsu stay here " he said as he used his ice make magic and slide down to the other mountain as he climbed to a hole that was in the mountain as he got a feeling that igneel was there at least a dragon but he hopes that it was igneel.

Natsu collapsed on Gray. He couldn't fight it anymore. He let the tears roll. "Gray, he's not here!" Natsu said in a saddened sob as he rested his head on Gray's shoulder. He felt Gray put him down and heard him slide down the mountain to climb in a hole. Natsu knew it was no good. Dragons were large creatures, there was no way one could fit in a hole that small. He just sat there on the top of the mountain, crying, waiting for Gray to come to the realization he did.

Gray sighed as there was no dragon there and looked at Natsu and thought what he could do, as he walked slowly back to Natsu, " Natsu listen! i will find igneel i promise you on my life! i will find him okay? you know i can't let my greatest rival getting weak like this right. even if it takes weeks or months or years i will find igneel" he said to Natsu as he wanted to help Natsu as he was not sure why, " what do you say Natsu? are you going to believe me or are you going to stay here and cry every day and being just a weakling?" he asked as he knew that Natsu would get his old self as he was calling him weak as he then hit Natsu as natsu fall on the ground as he chuckled " are you now back to your old self flame brain" he said as he was naked again as he was only wearing his underwear again as he had stripped again

Natsu would have normally fought back with Gray, insulting him and calling him names...but today was different. He was so close to finding Igneel, only to find out he wasn't here again. It was too much for Natsu. He was tired of constantly being let down. But then he heard Gray's words. He promised to find Igneel for him even if it costs him his life. Those words meant a lot to him. Natsu walked closer to Gray, "Gray..." He whispered. He didn't know why, but he had to. He leaned forward and kissed Gray on his lips. "Thank you...for everything." He said as he pulled away.

Gray noticed that it was hard for Natsu and that's why he wanted to find igneel for Natsu and to bring Natsu's father back even if it was cost all of his magic power or even his life, he was not sure why he felt like that but he wanted to help natsu and to make him happy and that could only if he will find igneel for natsu.

Gray looked at Natsu as he thought first that Natsu was going to fight him for what he said with calling him names but then he was shocked as Natsu kissed him on the lips as he turned completely red as he could still feel the sweet soft warm lips on his own cold lips as he didn't know what to say , " ah um .... t...thanks ....." he mumbled as his heart was beating fast " why did you do that you stupid flame breather .... it ....felt...good" he mumbled the last part as Natsu would almost hear Gray's heart beating as gray quickly turned around, " i shall go now. Natsu make sure to tell the others that i will be away and that i will be away for a long time probably " he said to Natsu with a smile, " and in the mean time just life and act how you did before we were going on this request and you will see that i will come back with igneel, i will try my best to find him as soon as possible " he said as he blushes heavily as he gave a quick kiss on Natsu's cheek as he then used his ice make magic as he slide down to the last mountain as he then started from there his journey to igneel with Natsu's lips still in his mind, it was clearly that he was in love with Natsu

Natsu tried to yell at Gray, telling him he was coming with him, but before he knew it, Gray was halfway down the hill. There was no way Natsu could catch up with him, so he sat frustrated on the floor, his arms crossed and his brows furrowed. He looked over at the huge block of ice that encased the large puff of flame. It was truly a nice gesture from Gray. He walked over and inspected it, looking at its glow in the marvelous light. That's when he realized, Natsu had to carry this back down the mountains. "DAMN YOU GRAY!!!" Natsu yelled out loud to the sky.

Finally, after what seemed like days, Natsu arrived back at Fairy Tail. He didn't even want to talk to anyone. He was exhausted, not only because of his roller coaster of emotions, but also because he lifted the block of ice back to the guild. He stepped into the sauna and laid back against the wooden benches, soaking up the steam which revitalized him. He waited anxiously for Gray, hoping his search would turn something up.

Gray kept searching everywhere for Igneel sometimes he was getting into a fight with dark guilds wizards but he kept going on as he looked in every hole and every mountain even watching the sky but still he couldn't find igneel. He was thinking the whole time about Natsu as he was not sure why he did that, He continued his way to the search of the fire dragon igneel the father of Natsu.

After 4 months there was still no sign of Gray or igneel in magnolia and there was even no letter from Gray, no one knew in the guild where Gray was now and how he was doing and even not if something happened with him or not.

Natsu just wasn't himself when Gray never returned. He waited there everyday for him to return. He wanted to tell himself it was because when Gray did return, he would return with news of Igneel, but Natsu knew it was more than that. He missed Gray's company...he just missed Gray. He refused to go on any requests with Lucy or Erza, even a few S-Class ones. He just wanted Gray to return home safely, if he brought news of Igneel, that would only be a bonus. He just wanted Gray back.

Two months later again, there was already six months passed from the time that Gray and Natsu saw each other for the last time.

Gray finally found some traces of Igneel the fire dragon and Natsu's father but when he continued his searching he finally found Igneel the fire dragon and Natsu's father as he smiles tiredly as he walked over to Igneel, " Igneel Natsu's father.. I'm Gray fullbuster, im a friend of Natsu. Natsu is searching for you from the time that you left him, he miss you very much please come with me to the guild where Natsu is" he said to Igneel hoping that the fire dragon would come with him and also hoping that the fire dragon was not going to fight him because he had almost zero magic power left.

Natsu had waited 6 months for Gray, and he didn't ever show up. He was really worried. He had never left Fairy Tail, waiting in the spare inn rooms on the top floor. Everyone tried to cheer him up, Erza, Makarov, Lucy, but no one could do it, not even Happy! He just looked out of the window everyday, waiting for Gray to come back. He couldn't believe it, but it felt like the first time Igneel had disappeared. Natsu spent months waiting at their hill, waiting for him to come back, but he never did. Now, he did the same for Gray, waiting for him to come back. He just hoped that this didn't end up the same way.
