He stared silently out the window of their cab, and when they arrived at their destination he did not even have a clue as to where they were. And he didn't really care.

L had asked the driver to take them to a place he'd written down when Light had gone to grab his coat, giving the boys father a small smile before leaving with out explaining. When the two were out of the car and left alone, he turned to face the setting sun. "You know. Despite everything. I still would like to meet Kira...He's got a good thing going for him, and how he uses whatever it is to cause these could be a rather good way to do some good. Maybe he just needs a little help in seeing the true evil people from the ones that have been forced into doing something..." he said with a sigh. "And how I see it, this way that Kira uses to kill might also help..Its like he can control the person...I wonder if he can make someone who is about to die feel peace...giving them a final moment of happiness before passing over" he muttered. Hoping some good notes would please Light again. He was damn near sure that the boy was in fact this 'Kira' he strongly denied to be.

Light hugged himself, watching the sunset. He felt like breaking down right then, releasing held back tears. Clinging to L's legs and confessing every secret, every burden, every fear. Begging to be released from the voice of Kira in his head, the eyes of Ryuk following him, the guilt and hurt in his heart. But he didn't. He remained as composed as stone. ''L.... Do you think.... Kira is bad?'' He asked, voice shaking despite his best efforts. ''I mean.... I mean.... I.... I don't know what I mean, I guess.'' He turned his head, hugging himself as if to keep himself from literally falling to pieces. ''Do you think he hates himself? Or is afraid of himself? I mean.... I would be, if I were such a Monster with such dark power.''

Though I would think more highly of him if he hadn't simply just jumped into things with out at least talking to someone about it..Getting what they thought he should do." he said with shrugged. "I'd like to help him understand a little bit if I could...Maybe my way of finding him out isn't the best..Though I do love meeting someone that can be considered a rival..I've never found someone so...coy with getting away from me such as this 'Kira'. The messages he sends...its just all to perfect."

L blinked a few times at the others words. He couldn't very well deny that the thought passed through his mind once in a while, his gaze moving to rest on the other male as he switched to asking about what L would have done. "I don't know...Being as I'm not sure exactly how he does this strange thing with killing people, but if I knew more, I might be able to give you an answer" he said with a light lift of his shoulders in a lazy shrug. "Until then, i'd just have to say that I would do what any smart man would do. Figure out how to use it in order to help everyone, instead of just the small handful of people that would consider it help." he stated.
