I believe on account of the fact that I lived in a haunted house for 4 or 5 years and most of the activity centered around me. Nothing will make you a believer faster than seeing your recently dead father staring at you the next week.

When i was a kid i woke up in the middle of the night and stretched my arms while they were under the pillow. I hit the top of my bed... but i felt a hand rub against mine and pull away very quickly. I was scared as heck. so yes i believe in the paranormal supernatural.

I'm a guy who reads much and wants to know, how things work. And because of this I can' believe in Ghosts. Instead I know many tricks to make your brain think, that there is something, that really isn't there.

Haunted Houses? Hehe. Most of the times it is just a combination of infrasound, bad isloation and fertile imagination.
At work we got a new cooling system installed and some colleagues got palpitations in a part of the working area. Two or three were speaking of a bad feeling and a ghost, that is lurking there.
Then a guy came for maintenance and the whole time the cooling system was shut down, my colleagues had no bad feeling. After starting again, this feeling was back. The next day the maintenance guy came back and installed additional cushions at the suspension points of the cooler. And now we don't have any problems.
So, no lurking ghosts, just a dumb installation crew who forgot to install the vibration absorbers...

It's pretty amazing how human logic and science can disprove a lot of things! I'm a pretty skeptical person, but it's fun to let yourself get caught up in the excitement of it all.

Once we saw what we thought were UFO's from my friend's back porch. It was very bizzare. We ended up getting the courage to walk down the street to them and it turned out to be bats flying under a street light, and the light was just hitting them at very weird angles.

But for like five minutes we really thought we were about to be invaded!

I don't know if this thread is still active, but I have experienced something you might find interesting. Since I moved into this house five years ago, I have seen and experienced more than afew strange things. The most frequent things I experience are "shadow people", at first I thought I was just seeing things, but after talking about it both my brother and mom said that they also see them, one in particular being about the size of a small child that periodically darts around the house. This was unsettling, but the thing that really scared me was the sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which you the REM cycle of your sleep is interrupted and you become partially cognizant but lack the ability too move or speak. What made this truly scary was that many times when i was in this state I would see "shadow people" surrounding my bed and they would all be whispering, I would try to move or scream but would find myself entirely helpless. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
