Did you read this thread, and others, or are you posting with the aid of some kind of forum program that doesn't require human involvement.

I don't know, but I have been doing everything to get rid of those darn pop-up ads. I get annoyed because I don't always notice they are there.

You do realize everything isn't instant right? Just keep posting,eventually the server will catch up and you won't have a problem.

With the greatest of respect to everyone posting on this topic into any of the many threads on it - I've yet to see anyone with 10+ actual posts, two weeks membership that hasn't been promoted. I've seen a few people with high post-counts, but while I might be wrong about what the server does or doesn't count towards the membership I've yet to see anyone genuinely 'stuck' at probationary.

Honestly, at around 30 posts you get into standard member, above 100 you get senior membership - I've seen people do that, without RPing or posting personal information (ie; general chat threads and gallery comments) in one login.

I really don't know why everyone is hovering around the 10 or 11 postcount and wondering why the scales arn't tipping. Whatever happened to people leaving themselves margins for safety?

Oh Im currently a probationary user, I wanted to upload photos but seems like it won't show up here. I tried to create an album but can't find the link on User CP? was that because I'm still a probationary member?

What are you talking about?

You sound like you're describing some additional plugin feature from another site.

Yaoiai has never had user albums - why on earth would we when we have almost 30,000+ pictures in the galleries? Having the forums as a gallery holding hundreds of unmoderated, undisplayed duplicates sounds rather pointless as a feature when we already have a full, moderated gallery complete with front-page integration.

I thought that it required 2 posts aswell :P A suggestion would be that the text was updated, instead of still showing 2 posts ?

Just be active and do not care about your ranks like me. When I first registered in 2009 here, I even didn't turn much attention to the ranks and such stuff and now see <- Requires activity and time.

I agree with you, I've asked the admins more times than I can count now to update the text to what it should say. I was even told at one stage that it had been 'done already.'
I'm not convinced that its going to come that soon, about the only reason it might get done is to spite me after I tell people that admins are too lazy to do it~

All I can add is that adverts are there to help us keep the site open, its not a punishment and that removing some of the adverts is a reward for contributing, not a bribe to force you.

I've seen plenty of people make about twenty meaningful, useful posts in an hour or two in the yaoi section of the forum and be off maximum adverts almost instantly.
