I laughed a little at his feigned anger. "Today I will be talking about demonic rituals. This will be the topic for about a month, so I do hope you pay attention." the teacher tells everyone. The class takes out their notebooks, along with myself. I wanted to seem like an average geek, after all. I started drawing the symbols on the boards, already providing the information about them, and what rituals they were used in. I knew this stuff to heart. The teacher went ahead and explained the rituals to the class, and why they were so important for demons.

I read his lips again, then smirked a little and continued taking notes. Then the priest said, "The bell will ring soon, and I'm happy to say that this class is one of the largest I've had. I hope you all stay for the rest of the year." He says, smirking, "We may even be studying a demon close-up at the end of the year." When I heard that, I frowned a little. The rest of the class seemed pretty psyched about that.

I snapped my head toward Darren when the teacher talked about the demon close-up. Sure enough, Darren frowned. Even if it was a little, I could see it. I followed Darren out the room and held his hand, dragging him toward the janitors closet. "will you please explain? Your a demon?"

When I was dragged back to the janitors' closet, I knew he knew. When he asked that, I scoffed a little, "That class is a load of bull. Amusing, but stupid." I say, scratching the back of my head, "Like demons exist." I mutter, about to exit.

I looked back into Selene's eyes, then sighed. "I'm pretty sure it'll be easier to hear both sides at one time." I tell him, taking his hand and leading him back to the Priest's class. When we enter, we see him looking at one of the symbols, frowning. He looks at us, then back at the symbol. "I know why you're here. Close the door." He tells us, and I do.

I sigh and look at my brother. He shrugs a little and takes out his cross, then presses it against Selene's head. I know it didn't hurt him, and my brother smiles, "Perfectly harmless, right?" he says, pressing the cross against Selene's cheek and hand.
