My eyes widen as I look at them. They're getting along so well, I thought. I sighed and sat down on the table right in front of them and watch them exchange words. Just before lunch, they almost killed each other... This is so weird. But now os my chance! "so Seth... Will you umm take this.... 'blessing' off?" I look at him hopefully

Both me and Seth, without looking at him, said in response to his question "No." And Seth continued to read and I continued to stare blankly at the book. I wasn't able to read it, it all looked like scrambled letters to me because I was a demon. "Seth, you were looking at a symbol when we left for lunch.... I don't think I've seen it before, can you show it to me?" I asked him kindly, making him smile. He puts the book down and draws it on the whiteboard again. "This is the Resurrection circle. You can put a dead human being in the middle, and when you say the correct chant, a demon will inhabit the persons' body, making it active, but destroying the purity inside. So, if Selene here were to just keel over, we could draw this circle and put him in the middle, do the correct chant, and he'll reanimate. The only issue, is that any demon could have been inserted during this time. It could even be Dad's spirit, if the kid's body was strong enough." He says, writing down symbols next to the circle. "This is the chant. You will repeat it three times, and you have the option of sprinkling goats' blood on the body, if you want to try and keep the demonic spirits away. Never works though." He says, looking back at me. "Understand?" I nod a little, writing it all down in my notebook. "So, is this how you were born?" I ask, not looking at him. Seth froze, and he looked at me from the corner of his eye.

I sighed when my request was rejected. I really didnt want to hurt Darren everytime i touched him. I heard them talking about a symbol. The resurrection circle? I listened carefully about what it does and how you process it. When m name was mentioned I froze and thought, don't use me as a sacrifice! I breathed out when he didn't mean it and froze again when Darren asked Seth if this was how he was borned. "you were a demon too Seth?"

Seth smiles, "Yes, but since I've chosen the path of God, my evil powers and sinful urges have been suppressed, and I have successfully taken the role of Priest." I role my eyes, "You should've stayed a demon. I liked you the way you were." I tell him, looking away from him. Seth frowns, "Anyways, how could we have been brothers if I weren't a demon?" he questions Selene.

(by the way, I'm making this a choose your own path story. You can chose from the priest or the demon in the end, ok? Don't chose just yet though)

"I'm not sure. I don't know everything about how this all processes anyways... It's not like you explained everything... You just burned Darren" I pouted and looked at Seth

Seth chuckles a little, "Usually when someone can't handle a cross being held against their skin, people automatically assume he's a demon. Which is true in Darren's case." He says, patting my head again, then he looks at the circle, "Actually, Darren.... this was how you were born...." He tells me, making my eyes widen and I look at him. "Dad took the time to tear off a piece of his demonic spirit, and when someone tried to resurrect their dead child of three years, he suppressed all the demons headed to the body and threw out that piece of hatred. Luckily it stuck to the body, and I witnessed the whole thing..."

I listened with wide eyes at how Darren was born "that's so cool but so weird..." I look at Darren and touch the cross on my neck. "he cNt touch me..." I look at Seth and then Darren "will I ever get this off?"

Both me and Seth sighed a little, "That cross is for your protection!" We respond. Seth blinks and looks at the ground, "It'll come off if you do something extremely sinful. Like murder." He tells him. I frown a little, "Don't tell him that, He'll end up killed someone." I say, gently swatting Seth's arm. Then Seth chuckles a little, "You know, Selene, if you keep hanging out with this demon, the chances of you being possessed, regardless of the necklace, will increase."

I astonishingly looked at both of them when they yelled at me at the same time. Awkward moment. I had to do something sinful? I blushed when Darren said I would kill someone "I would not!" I cutely slammed my foot to the ground "then who am I supposed to be with if I want my chances to increase?" I looked at both of them.

Seth frowns, "The more you're with a demon, the more you'll be possessed. If Darren possesses you, he could eat your soul, then another demon will come and reanimate your body. That's how most demons are made." Seth explains, "If you hang out with someone with religious power, though, you'll be less likely to be possessed, and the power of the necklace will grow to the point that even if you take it off, demons will have to avoid you." He says.
