Lucas blushes as he wanted to look away but somehow keep staring into Zavier's eyes and listened to him, as he felt stupid when he heard that what zavier needs to do, " oh.... im sorry.. i um.. thought it was more to fight those guys.. but im very happy that it is not that" he said as he played a bit with his fingers, it's something what he does often when he is nervous, or feeling shy or feeling stupid. " im glad to know that, but you said it by yourself i can't always have you around me to protect me, then i will be a burden for you.. and i don't want to be a burden for you... " he said softly as he got red when zavier kissed his forehead and smiles cute and softly , " i...i...it's alright .. you don't need to get a real job even if we need to live here i don't mind... you need to be happy too. " he mumbles softly but zavier could still heard it

He frowned when he called himself a burden. Whenever he talks down to himself. The older male would flick his nose. "I never said that. You are never a burden to me. But do watch your back." he tells him. Walking over to the window. Seeing that the people that were fight were now sitting in the tanks that were used to take spell casters away. It was made with a special metal that blocks the magic flow. They were be like Lucas and not be able to cast a spell. "But I want to get a real job. I want to live a better life. Make something of myself." he said in a serious tone. "It will be a cold day in hell before I decide to live in this dump for the rest of my life." he said. Then he looks over to the young boy. "You and I. We are going to move up in this city. Til we are living the good life. No more worries. No one telling us what to do. No more people looking down at us. It will be us that be looking down." he said, sounding a bit angry.

Lucas blushes as he rubs his nose when zavier flicked his nose, nods " i ... i know but.. i feel like a burden to you. it's the truth im making it harder for you to have a life that you want to have." he said softly as his blush goes away and his smile came as he heard that he was not a burden, " thanks" he said as he watched Zavier walking over to the window, as he listened that zavier told him that he wants a real job a better life, " but um.. zavier is it not much easier for you to be without me to get that better life " he asked as he giggles, " well it would never be cold in hell i guess" he said and smiles as he hugs zavier, " thanks zavier.. well i already could imagine what you mean. i will do my best on school even if it will be going very hard as seeing that i can't read so good or maybe write well you know what i mean... i hope... but im going to do my best and make you proud." he said as he smiles and puts his head against zavier's back.

He wrapped his arms around the smaller boy. "Yes, when I have the time. I promise you that I will teach you how to read and write at the level you are suppose to be." he tells him in a gentle voice. "Not only for me, but i want you to live a far better life. Somewhere where you can be you. Even though people think that it's a curse that you can't do magic. The truth is...I'm actually envious of you." he tells him. "The world would be better off without it. So will people." he tells his friend. Then he pats him on the shoulder. "Well we should get this place cleaned up."

Lucas smiles happy as zavier wrapped his arms around him and closed his eyes as he rest his head against zavier's chest as he felt his heart was beating everytime faster and faster as he blushes, " t..t.thanks zavier" he whispers softly he was not able to say so much of this feelings, what were this feelings, his heart was beating so fast like it would almost rip out of his chest from the fast beatings and why was he blushing so much like a girl that gets hugged by a guy. he felt stupid as he was acting like a girl right now , ".. i don't know what to say.. thanks zavier, i never thought you would envious of me, i wanted always to have magic but by you i can be myself" he whispers and when zavier pats him on the shoulder he almost jumped in the air as he nods quickly , " ah yeah i mean sure ah.. im right back" he said

he quickly walked away to another room as he leaned against the wall as he hold his hands on his chest by his heart as he was so red, " damn.. why am i acting like this right now.. zavier is just being nice to me why do i need to get so fast feelings from things im not a girl, i need to act normal.. what would zavier thinks if he sees me like this. oh i hope he didn't heard my heart beating so fast " he said to himself

While Lucas was in the other room. He thought he would go to the kitchen. Finding two buckets under the sink. Pulling them out and fills them up with water. Which was luckily clear. So he didn't have to waste money on buying water bottles. After both was filled. He looks for cleaning supplies, but there weren't any. "Lucas. I'm going up to by some cleaning stuff. I'll be right back. Lock up and stay indoors. He said and leaves. As he steps outside. He to was having the same problems that the other was having. His heart was beating fast. Not understanding why he was gaining feeling for him. He kept telling himself that they were friends, but his heart was disagreeing with the idea.

Lucas was still thinking and getting to act like normal but it was hard for him to surpress the feelings but why, he thought but he didn't have more time to think as he heard zavier saying that he was going to get some cleaning stuff and that he needs to lock up and stay indoors, " ...ah... okay i like.... ah i mean yeah... sure im waiting here..." he said quickly as his voice was still sounding different he tried his best to sound like normal but it was hard to do with this feelings, when zavier was away he walked slowly out of the room and locked the door as he let him slide down on the floor as his heart was keep beating fast and the only one he could think off was zavier and to have his arms around him and to feel zavier's soft warm lips on his fore head , no he needs to stop thinking like that, there will never be anything between them.. they were friends and they were friends always, just friends nothing else. " i can't just go to him and telling him that i love him, that will be so embarrassing, what if he rejects me and what if that will end our friendship, no we are only friends and nothing more and there will be nothing more and that's all!!" he shouted at himself.
