He quietly followed him to the kitchen. When they arrived. He takes a quick look around. Going up to the bucket where they normally used to wash the dishes. Kiyoshi Sets everything down next to it and sees that the bucket was empty. "Shall I leave to fetch some water?" he asked.

"That's not needed.... We have quite a few luxuries here." Masao said and took the bucket setting it down underneath a bamboo pump that seemed to be lured in through a window in the stone walls. He set his hand son the handle and started to work it. Soon, fresh water poured its way out from the spot and in to the bucket. "See now?" he asked with a smile. "It's actually something Shinta brought up... and well we decided to try it."

The young lad watched with amazed when he saw the water coming through the stone wall. His former home had nothing like that. You would of have to go to the well or to the stream to get water. "That's quite impressive." he said. Looking through the window to see where the water was coming from.

As he peered out through the opening he was met with a large set of Bamboo piping that ran down to a collection and purification center which then led down to a small river. Masao seemed to smile gently as he watched the younger move to take a bit of interest in the pumping system. "Really is a work of genius... Shinta got the idea from one of his studies from the books I have him read." Masao said before tying back his sleeves and getting ready to work.

He listens to his lord's words on explaining on how the idea was form. He then pulled his out of the window and back inside. "Indeed it is. I had never seen anything like it before. This might do go for places where water access is most difficult." he said with a smile on his face. Seeing him pulling up his sleeve. He tries to do that as well. Only with him, after finishing one and doing the other. It would unroll, meaning that he would have to do it again.

Masao tried to hold back a gentle chuckle. "You mustn't have much practice with work either." he commented before reaching out and folding up the sleeves so that they would stay put. "There now." Masao purred as he picked up a brick and a wash cloth.

His cheeks turned a little rosy when Masao said that. "No. Not really." he told him. Looking away with a shy expression on his face. For he mostly did was study, sneak off now and again to teach others and stay in his room. Until he was needed. In a way he felt more like a tool for his clan then the next heir, but he tries hard to push that thought to the back of his mind. Once his sleeve were staying in place. He begins to help his lord with the dishes.

And together they worked cleaning the set of dishes they used and Masao set them away in each of their proper places/ "What about interests... do you have any of those?" Masao asked leading the shorter off to the bath house. "Painting, singing, calligraphy, horse back riding?" he asked.

Kiyoshi kept his head low and focus on cleaning the dishes. He scrub well, making sure not to miss a spot. When asked about interest. He looks up at him shyly. "Well...when I used to sneak out. Me and some of the other boys in the village used to go to the river and fish. But I haven't done that in years. But it was fun." he told him. Letting out a chuckle and smiled. "You wouldn't believe the things happen. A dear friend of my got three fishhooks stuck in his index finger." he said in a cheerful voice. That was the first time since he had arrived that he sound really happy.

"That's a bit hard to do I should imagine." he chuckled at the image of something like that."So you like to fish... that's a goo start. " he offered stepping out side in to the moist atmosphere, you could tell it was getting ready to rain.
