When Josh sat on the bed Lady opened her eyes and looked at him, once again stretching. She seemed at ease and put her head up to his touch. She sniffed the wet towel when Josh showed it to her.

Akira looked at Sangre curiously when he had say he came at the best time. And then he smiled hearing that Harumi had birthday tomorrow and there was something for her. 'It isn't silly. And I will gladly help. Let me wash those dishes.' He wrote that when he was close enough for Sangre to be able to see it. Akira was curious what Sangre made.. but decided to wait a bit and see for himself.

Josh observed as the small animal stretch, her eyes finally open and it was nice to see. She really was rather cute. The thought made Josh shake his head and sigh. He was getting way too sensitive, although maybe that was a good change.
“Alright, I’ll just use this on your fur…nice and slow.” Josh just spoke trying to calm Lady and not much else. Of course she can’t speak English so he used words to ease her. Carefully Josh put the damp towel against her hind quarters first, her white fur seeming to still be rather clean from her first washing, although Josh wanted to ensure she was properly groomed, unknowing if she was fully capable of being able to reach some of the more difficult places on herself.


Sighing in relief, Sangre smiled wide at what Akira wrote and nodded his head. “Thanks, it’ll help a lot.” The chef said, his voice full of deep breaths, trying to relax since he seemed a bit too worked up about finishing on time.
Heading towards a pantry nearby, Sangre pulled out some food colouring, carefully taking out what he had in the fridge next and placing it on the counter. At first, it didn’t seem like much, but with further inspection, it could be easily seen what it was.
“I’m making her a sculpture, made purely out of sugar and chocolate.” Sangre glanced back at Akira and smiled. “Usually takes a few days but I think I can do it before midnight.” Looking back at what was in front of him, Sangre began to work on something with sugar nearby, melting it down and adding food colouring while it boiled. Pouring it out onto a plastic mold, Sangre made sure to be careful with every move he made. The edible, fragile sculpture just consisted of flowers for now, but the chef was working on butterflies, trying his best to make them as detailed as possible. “I appreciate you helping.” Sangre smiled while glancing back at Akira.

Lady seemed a bit curious what that strange human was doing.. but she was still calm. One almost could say she acted like a real lady.

Rolling up his sleeves up he started to wash the dishes though when he saw what Sangre done and was still doing he sighed in awe.
"You are so gifted", he whispered, his throat hurt a bit less as he was able to speak once again.
It startled him a bit and made him flinch. Those returns of voice were so random..
""She would love it", he said softly, not able to tear off his eyes from the chocolate figurine.

Josh was slightly astounded by how good Lady was doing, in fact he was expecting her to randomly run or even defend herself…but she didn’t. Smiling slightly again, Josh went to the back of her neck, carefully cleaning there and shaking his head. “He really did choose a good name for you.” Josh whispered, going down to her tail and making sure it was al clean as well.
“Make sure you use your litter box. Please.” Josh spoke, desperately hoping she had some past experience with litter.

While Sangre was working on molding some of the chocolate, he froze and looked back at Akira in surprise. No matter how much he spoke, he couldn’t get used to hearing his voice. Smiling, Sangre looked back at what he was working on and nodded.
“It’s one of my best work….thank you. I need the reassurance.” Sangre looked at Akira a bit longer before having to turn his head in order to focus on the stove. “It’s really nice to hear you talk by the way…it’s comforting.” Sangre said with a soft smile on his face.

When Josh to her cut off tail only then she hissed a bit, moving away from Josh. It was clear she didn't like to be touched there.. maybe still remembering some of the past that made her lose half of it.

"There's no need to thank me. I'm just saying the truth", he said quietly and then blushed deeply. "W-why.. c-comforting.. it's.."
Clearly embarassed he started to wash the dishes, focusing on them for the time being, not wanting to destroy anything. After some time it was done and he was calm once again.

The warning Josh received made it obvious Lady wasn’t comfortable with him touching her tail. Instantly he drew his hand back, not afraid although of course cautious. “Okay, I won’t touch there anymore, promise.” Josh said to her while taking the towel away and using his hand to scratch between her ears instead. “There you go, I think that’s about it…” Josh looked at her, seeing if any other places would need a bit more extra attention.
“Still, I appreciate it.” Sangre said while adding a few detail of the butterflies wings, the sugar looking almost like a stain glass window, although instead of glass it was made out of pure sugar and colouring. Looking at Akira yet again, Sangre allowed the silence to linger, to allow Akira to calm a bit before he decided to speak. “It’s just nice to hear you speak. It means you’re getting comfortable, and especially that you can do it around me makes me feel privileged.” Sangre smirked. “I feel special.” he chuckled and then went to pipe them together.

Lady was clean and as Josh didn't touch her tail he purred into the pet she received.

As Akira was wiping his hand in the towel he heard Sangre speaking once again and then he smiled a bit.
"Because you are special.. you and Master", he whispered once again, leaning on the fridge and observing what the other male was doing.

While Josh stayed with Lady, and kept close to her while attending to a few other things, Sangre was still busy in the kitchen, working alongside his friend who stood nearby. Glancing over at Akira, Sangre smiled again, his jaw nearly aching from how happy he had been recently.
“I feel the same for you both as well. Hm, and Harumi of course.” Sangre cleared his throat, looking back at the sculpture and making a small flower on the side when Akira was attending to the dishes. Since he was nearby, Sangre carefully slipped the thin almond chocolate flower into his hand and passed it to Akira. “Here, try this and tell me how it tastes. It’s only a sample so don’t feel bad if you eat it.” Sangre chuckled. He made it for the sake of testing it out, wanting to make sure it tasted okay and he hoped Akira would like to taste test it for him.

Akira wasn't sure if someone like him should be special to anyone.. but still.. it was really good to hear that. When the chocolate flower was put on his hand he looked at it for few moments and then back to Sangre.
"It looks so nicely that it's almost pity to eat it..", he whispered and after few more moments he ate it. "It's really good."

Sangre wiped his hands off just to be sanitary and got ready to make something else. When Akira said that, he smiled and shook his head. “That one took only a minute to make, maybe even less.” Sangre assured him. Watching as he tried it, the chef took a breath of relief.
“Good good. It has hazelnut inside as well as a little bit of almonds.” Sangre went back to doing a bit more work, although of course not wanting to ignore Akira while he did.
“If you’d like to help me with something else, I’d like to ask of something.” Sangre glanced back at Akira and then looked at the nearby front counter. “I haven’t wiped off the counters today. Just these clothes have to be dampened, spray a little of that on the countertops and wipe it off. Done.” Sangre said while pointing to the bottle with the cleaning solution inside. “I hope you don’t mind.” Sangre then added.
