"Working on your birthday.. That doesn't sound nice", he noticed as he looked at Josh putting flower to the fourth vase.
Thinking it would be good idea to leave that one to Josh he started the fifth one. The last two would be multicolour but it seemed they still would look nicely.

Sangre sighed and shook his head. “I guess my birthday isn’t that important to me much anymore.” The chef spoke while grabbing a few things and bringing it over to the counter.
Josh knew that this year he’d ensure Sangre wouldn’t have to work on his birthday. If that meant he had to cook instead, then he’d do it. Putting a few of the flowers in the vase, Josh creased his brow and began to add a few in the front, making sure the shorter ones were in the foreground while the longer ones went into the back.
It was just a little messy, although just a little bit. There were a few things out of place as Josh took his hands away and inspected it. Glancing over at Akira, there was a moment where he looked at him helplessly, as though Akira would be able to fix any mistakes for him.

"Shouldn't it be important? Always? It's the day you were born after all", he said softly as he looked at Josh, feeling his gaze on him.
Looking at the bouquet he tilted his head.
"If you place it here and those twigs here and here... and that rose instead of here would be placed here.. Is that alright, Master?", asked Akira in almost a whisper, looking on the final effect.

“It is, but I’ve grown to get used to not having one.” Sangre said once more without much passion in his voice as usual.
Josh paid close attention to what Akira was showing him, looking back at the bouquet and nodding while rearranging the things that he pointed out. When he switched a few flowers and added some twigs, Josh smiled and leaned back to see the final result.
“I think you have a keen eye. It looks a lot better, thank you Akira.” Placing his hand back along his hip, Josh looked at the one Akira had just been working on and admiring it. “You’d be a good floral designer.” he said with an amazed look on his face. Akira really did have artistic talent, and that wouldn’t go to waste while he lived in the complex.

Not commenting what Sangre said he promised to himself to change that. Not having birthday when you know when they were was awful in his eyes. Something that could be changed even by him himself.
"Floral designer? Who is that?", he asked softly, once again curious.

Josh finished up with the last of the flowers and looked back at Akira with a smile. “It’s a profession where someone makes art out of flowers. Almost like this…putting them together to make something beautiful or presentable.” Josh looked back at the bouquets and looked at Sangre. “Anything else?” he wondered while keeping his arm tucked around Akira, feeling rather peaceful in the moment.
Sangre took a deep breath and looked around. He took a few moments to think before shaking his head. “I’m about to finish off the chocolate. I might need help in the morning setting things up along the tables, although…I think it’s done now.” Sangre smirked and went over to see the flowers, shaking his head and touching a few gently.
“Perfect, thank you both, this is amazing.” he stated while looking at the tables. “After these are put onto the tables, we’ll be finished.” Sangre stated as he took a vase and walked over to place it down atop of one of the small dining tables.
Josh nodded, standing up and sliding his hand off of Akira so he could hold a vase as well and put it down as well. “Can you do it too Akira?” Josh asked, just to make sure he was capable and didn’t fall with the glass in his hands.

"I can help in the morning", he said and then looked at the vase questioningly.. only to shake his head. "I don't think it would be good idea.. I feel a bit.. out of strenght right now.. and wouldn't want to destroy anything. Also.. I'm a bit hungry so.. if that's not a problem.."
Now he realised he didn't eat his soup because of everything that had happened.
"And is your hand alright, Sangre?"

“The morning is fine Akira.” Sangre said to him with a faint smile. Placing the other vases down with Josh, both knew it was a good idea for him to rest for a moment then to push himself. Although when he mentioned being hungry, Josh was the first to react.
“He didn’t finish his dinner. You wouldn’t mind…?”
Sangre nodded and headed over towards the kitchen with Josh at his side, both going to make something quick until Akira spoke once more.
“It’s not too bad. A bit sore when I bend it but it’s pretty small, no need for stitches.” Sangre said with a smile on his face. It was nice to know he cared enough to ask, it was rather reassuring.
“How do you feel about having a bagel with cream cheese? It takes five minutes to make, simple and rather good.” Sangre wondered despite it being something usually made for breakfast.
Josh then looked at Sangre, before back at Akira. “How’s that sound Aki? You can head to bed right after you eat I promise.” he reassured while getting some of the things out for Sangre.

"That's good.. It looked serious..", he sighed in relief.
Akira smiled when Josh called him Aki. No one never called him like that. It made him feel all warm inside.
"It's sounds great. And I can eat that soup that I left? And drink the tea. That wouldn't be good to.. waste it", he said shyly, seeing both men doing something. "And I can help.. I don't want to be a bother.. I... should eat faster.. I'm sorry.."
With all the commotion Akira felt now really bad for asking.

“The soup? Yes of course.” Sangre stated while the bagel was toasting. Josh went over and grabbed the bowl of soup, placing it in the microwave in order to heat it up again. The tea was a bit cold, so as Sangre was about to go and grab it, he stopped when he heard Akira.
Josh knew that voice, and right away he told the chef what to do. “Let Akira heat up his tea. Go ahead Akira.” He said with a soft smile, trying to comfort him since he knew that look and that tone of voice too well. “If you cant heat it up, you can make a totally new one. We have a lot of bags of tea so don’t think you’re burdening us. Please.” Josh said, tempted to just go over and hug Akira but he knew he had to try and speak with him first.
