In a nearly total capitalist world, money is what speaks. And in a world driven by money and money alone, crime becomes an abundant and even acceptable part of every day life. Two powerful countries- or the crime syndicates that run them- have almost total control of the not-so-underground market of crime. Italy, controlled by the recently joined Natale and Carapin clans, is indisputably the king of the world's slave trade, and Germany, lead by the Weingarter family, controls nearly all forms of the drug market- from creation to distribution.
Though these two organizations have historically been at great odds, their newest young leaders, Fitello Natale and Luca Weingarter, see the value in working together, perhaps in part due to their close childhood friendship. Together, these two syndicates not only gain the benefits from doing business with the other, but also gain the protection of the other powerful organization. In the highly competitive and dangerous world, they'll need it; they may be the most powerful syndicates, but they're by no means the only ones... and they're without a doubt the targets of everyone else in the world.
