Yami slept quietly in his throne room. He'd wandered aimlessly about the corridors of his seemingly endless mind and felt tired for the first time in 5,000 years. He knew Yugi was going to bed soon, so he decided to try and sleep. His cheek rested on the knuckles of his right hand and his other hand hung off the edge of the left arm rest of the throne.

Yami's brows furrowed hearing the door close behind Yugi, but they soon relaxed and he remained deep asleep. All the lines in his face when he duels were gone and he looked much younger than he acts while so peaceful. His chest moved up and down with his gentle, slow breathing.

Yami continued to sleep, then began to slowly stir and finally awoke. He blinked his eyes a few times and took notice to Yugi standing in front of him, then he slowly sat up straight and lowered his bent arm to rest on the arm rest. "Yugi. I didn't know you were here. Is everything alright?"
