John allowed a rare small smile to appear as set the menu aside as well. "Tell me, what was it like when you first entered the club before you became a regular compared to now. Is the atmosphere still the same?"

"Him and I argued about the sound system and the ridicules about the lights, but it does seem popular. I am more worried about the reputation of the club being upheld. As you know, we have quite a few female patrons and employees and I want to ensure their safety, not saying that men don't get protection as well. What about our VIP rooms? "Well, it was...edible. I mean, it wasn't necessarily something you would expect in a VIP section, or at least I wouldn't. Sugary, messy...and then the guests would leave stains that would still be there for a few days. Now, it's much better...clean, and the food is more hand-friendly." Allistar replied, then he looked down at his hands as he played with his watch for a bit. "I know it isn't really the ideal place for female workers, what with alcohol being served and the atmosphere attracting possible thrill-seekers who would do harm. I did notice a few employees getting harassed and have stepped in. I may be homosexual, but that doesn't mean I'm not sympathetic by any means."

Also I thank you for looking out for the workers and it is good to know that orientation doesn't affect kindness," replied John as he looked over to the other man. "Allistar, what do you do for a living? Being wealthy isn't really an occupation," he smirked as he waited for an answer.

Allistar looked back up at John and chuckled softly at the question he received. "I'm actually in financing. I work for a sister company of my father's whose in the marketing business, mostly for real estate companies and house market." he replied.

"A mutual interest we both have. I was supposed to go to some company that my father has worked for, to take his place, but I declined and opened the club with my friend," John smiled as he spoke. "I never liked it when people make plans for me. I already in the shadows of my older brother who became a doctor and my sister that is a charity director."

The waiter appeared with some fresh bread, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar as he asked both gentlemen for their orders or if they needed more time.

"I'm good for right now," says John as he looks down at the menu to see if there is anything that stands out to him.

"Yes, sir," replied the waiter as he gave a small bow and left.

"Do you drink to drink no matter what the blend is or do you actually savor it?" After the words left his mouth, John realized that it can come off as very rude, but with him being tired wasn't helping the situation. His eyes having lines just below his eye to show just how tired he was.
