Allistar gave a chuckle in response to what John said and he took a sip of his wine before answering. "My, my, you are observant." he said with a playful tone, then he folded his hands on the table once more. "I will admit, I did initially approach you for my own benefit, however I didn't expect you to be so full of fire and passion, and for us to share some things in common." he replied honestly, then he reached over and gently placed a hand over one of John's. "Also, I do have to have some precaution, but one had to let loose every now and then to break from social norm so that they don't go completely insane from repetition."

"Well if I would have known my attitude would have prompted this then I should have put on my business face and acted like a happy idiot," said John as he took another sip of the wine as well as he removed his hand from Allistar's. "So it appears your have those type of motives. Then again subconsciously I must have known to a certain degree, however I have a simple rule that I follow for those I sleep with."

Allistar removed his hand from John's slowly and he couldn't help but tilt his head a little to the side hearing the brunette's response. "Oh? What rule is that, if you don't mind me asking?" he asked, quite curious.

Setting down the glass he looked Allistar in the eye. "I only sleep with someone once. No exceptions."

Allistar blinked. He figured the brunette did so for his own reasons, and he knew he wouldn't get a straight answer or probably a lie if he asked why John was so firm on that one rule. His lips curved into a smile and he folded his hands together once more on the table. "That rule is fine with me." he replied.

"Good. Now we are in agreement. Let us order some food and drink some more wine shall we?" He smiled back as he looked at the waiter that came promptly to take their order.

Allistar picked up the menu once more and scanned through the selections. "I think a chicken Alfredo sounds delightful, with a side order of wheat bread." he said before looking over at John. "Order anything you want. I am buying." He ended that sentence with a playful wink.

"I will take your carbonara with a side of Polpi in Umido," smiled John as he handed the menu to the waiter. "Can we get a bottle of sparkling water as well?"

"Yes of course," smiles the waiter as he takes the order and takes the menu from both men.

Allistar handed his menu to the waiter before walked off and he looked back across at John as he folded his hands together while laying his chin over then, his elbows resting on the table. "You're making me more curious about you, John. I know you probably don't like to get personal with people you sleep with, but do you mind me asking if you've had any relationship experience?"

John raised an eyebrow at Allistar's question before replying, "what does that have to do with anything?" To John himself, past relationships doesn't usually play a role in his one night stands since they were well...one night stands.
