Zidane's Hope (private for myself and JaniSeguchi)

"H-Hope Estheim but call me Hope..." he replied back taking Zidane's hand with a steady firm grip standing back on his legs dusting himself. He doesn't look too good, jacket and shirt looks dirty and slightly ripped - has dirt on his cheeks, elbow and knees too. Staying close to Zidane's side but doesn't take his eyes off the thief's long, blondish tail. 'His tail... it's strangely weird but cool...' lifting an arm up about to poke it but stops himself nodding no. "Town? A-alright then Lead the now..." looking down sadly and confused as ever gripping Zidane's arm at the thought. 'Hm... that's when I met those thugs.. ugh... nobody didn't even stop them or help me..'

"Alright. You must be hungry huh? Food and drinks are my treat. Thank those thugs while your at it too." Zidane said with a smirk, leading Hope twords the town. "So where are you from? Have any family?" He asked, hoping to strike up a conversation along the way. From the looks of it the boy didn't seem from around here. He seemed from another area. If not another planet or so. "Hope's a nice name." He added, liking the sound of the boys name. His tail wagged slowly, accidentally brushing against Hope's leg.

"Haha... I guess so... and thanks.." he said nervously staying close as they walk into towns looking around still not so sure where is he but it's wasn't Cocoon for sure. Stalls of many fruit and veggies - weapons and armors - the sky wasn't so clear just cloudy. "Hm? oh you see.. I-I don't know how I go here... It's a haze blur but just between you and me, I-I'm not from this place nor not from this planet." Hope replied whispering to Zidane's ear softy so he won't draw attention or worse than that - big trouble. "About my family...? Well I have a dad. As for my mom... It's a long story." looking down almost going in tears stopping his steps focusing the monkey thief to halt too but holds his tears up and continues on. Almost made a yelp sound feeling his tail rubbing against his leg blushing lightly.

"Huh I see. So where is this place your from anyways? And I'm sorry to hear about your mom. As for me. I don't have any parents. I kinda grew up on my own I guess you could say." Zidane said, smiling as he brought Hope to a tavern/restaurant. He waved to the owner, taking a seat at a nearby booth. "Order whatever you fancy Hope. Remember I'm buying. After this though I'm checking us into an inn so I can check those wounds of yours. They beat you up pretty badly back there. Do you have any spare clothes or are those it?" He asked, looking Hopes clothes up and down.

"Well, my world is a giant floating continent called Cocoon that's high above another world where creatures lived called Gran Pulse. In my world.. well a lot had happen there, I discovered so much and travel with my friends..." he smiles slightly at the though. 'No parents....? It's sad to see anyone going through their life without someone. Just like how Lightning, Serah and Snow went through....' shock to hear that Zidane didn't have a mother or father.
Hope looks around inside the restaurant sniffing the air making a Mmmm sound and sits next to Zidane on the booth too. The place looks decent yet nice "Thanks again Zidane. Sadly, this is my only clothes I got." he said picking up the menu browsing through. "I should try the 'curry with meat' with a glass of... do they have soda here?"

"Ah that sucks. And whats a soda?" Zidane asked in a curious tone. He had never heard of such a drink before. He had heard of beer or ale or even water but never soda before as long as he lived. "Is that like a type of beer or ale?" He asked in another curious tone. Zidane was now curious about this new drink Hope was talking about. He wanted to try it. He turned to face the bartender and scratched the back of his head with his tail. "Do you serve this drink called soda here?" He asked in the same curious tone as before.

'He doesn't know what's a soda is? hm... I'm guessing that since this planet doesn't have venting machines but what can I drink then?' crossing his arms with eyes closed too then lifts an arm up taping his side head, his eyes blinked back at him asking him if it was a new beer or ale. "No no, it's not a new beer yet I'm too young to even start drinking. It's a sugary drink that give like young kids like myself sugar high.. you know." gives a light smile before the waiter came waiting for man's answer to see if they had any 'soda'.
The Waiter replied back with a yes saying that they only have one more gallon left enough for him and Zidane. "They have soda here? well then, Zidane? you can try it if you like too."

"I have never had a sugar high. Been a tad tipsy though. And yes I would like to try this soda. I am curious to see if its any good. Two sodas please. And I'll have my usual." Zidane said, his usual being a chicken dinner. He always ate it when he came around with his old crew, let alone when he came into town in his travels. "What are you getting Hope?" He asked in a curious tone, looking at Hope's menu to try and get a peek at what he was looking at.

"Don't worry but I hope you like the taste." Hope smiled lightly when the waiter nod writing down then turns to the silver haired boy still deciding on what to eat. "I should get what you getting. The usual, right?" he told the waiter nodding lightly with a smile before taking his leave towards the kitchen. "Um... if it's okay if I try the usual like yours, Zidane?" he asked him setting the menu down pointing to it. Looking at himself in a disgusting awe sighing deeply, he really looks badly messed up handling his arms across the table in revealed. 'Bastards got me bad... my chest still hurts.' feeling his chest but fliches from the pain.

Zidane nodded. "Doesn't bother me. I always order that ever since I first came here. But then again I always enjoyed that type of food. What do you like to eat Hope?" He asked, handing the waiter the menu. "I mean what do they have where your from?" He asked in a curious tone. He wanted to know more about Hope. He seemed very interested about where he came from and such. It sounded like an interesting place this Cocoon place. He wondered what it was like, how its people were. What the monsters were like. "Is it a nice place or is it very much like Gaia?" He asked in a curious tone.
