What type of anime is your favorite?

I was just curious what type of anime anyone is drawn in by. It could be a genre or a preference in characters or the plot.

I really enjoy psychological anime anything that keeps me on the edge of my seat as in suspense and makes me think and wonder what's going to happen. Why things are happening. Stuff like that.

I also really enjoy cute bouncy type of anime's that are upbeat and don't really get too serious such as Baka to Test or Pani Poni Dash. The more insane the better.

So, discuss let me know I'm curious.

It's hard to say for me. I think anything that has good action and good humor always catches my eye. Also animes that show a bit more realism in the characters always strike a good note for me. I'm not really sure how to categorize it. Some of my recent favourites are: Fairy Tail, K-On, Lucky Star and Death Note, so if anyone can come up with a way to classify those together, feel free

I like anything with a good plot, characters people can relate to and I like to see at least a bit of humour in an anime.
I guess my favourite styled anime are Romantic Comedies and Fantasy Fairytale anime (haha I know, I'm such a girl xD)

I tend to enjoy shounen series (Naruto, Bleach, YYH, etc.) for the most part, though there are many other series I like from other genres.

Plot's the most important thing, in anything really: anime, video games, what have you. As long as it has a believable plot with awesome twists that keep me on the edge of my seat, I'm happy.

The only exception to that so far is Gurren Lagann. I only recently started watching it, and I can already tell that it's just solid over-the-top silliness. It's still awesome, though. XP

I enjoy comedy for the most part. Drama and romance are also great genres. Slice of life is nice and light hearted... But in general, I really only watch anime shows that have hot guys in them X'D

I like sometimes animes/Mangas with sadness and killing machines (Elfend Lied). And mangas that show the story of popular video games (Metroid and Zelda Mangas).Also i like Mangas that are still with killing but can be fun and have a good plot (once piece and black butler)

I'd have to say that my favorite types of anime would have to be action/adventure, comedy, and sometimes romance. I perfer the fun and bubbly romance ones, though, like Wallflower or something along those lines. I don't really go in for very dramatic or tragic series, as I don't like to be sad >_< Pervy comedy animes are great, too. Welcome to the NHK would be to be my fav in that catagory. Action/adventure... whew, I have too many picks for that one, lol.
