[Fable]

Alexander couldn't help giggling at Ashley's recollection of events.
"Alright. I can't say I was trying my absolute hardest to find the right path, but I don't remember you complaining!" He reached over and stroked Ashley's cheek affectionately, using his free hand to continue driving.
"In fact...You slept like a baby in my arms. I couldn't get you up the next morning, although you were in dire need of a wash!"
He smirked at his lovers attempt to hide his arousal.
"Good memory I take it?"
He pulled the car to a halt and nestled into the empty car park just across from the beach, killing the engine and marvelling at the fact that he'd been enjoying himself so much he'd barely noticed the rain.
It was coming down quite heavily, and it made quite a fierce sound as it fell on the thin roof of the car.
"I love the sound of rain..." he said sleepily.
He nodded towards the beach and the waves that creeped up it's surface.
"Still fancy a walk? Or should we wait it out?"

Ashley blushed furiously, he'd clearly not been covert enough in hiding his twitching groin.

He'd never been a lover of the rain, mostly because it messed with his hair which he liked to keep in a particular style - which Alexander also delighted in messing up. "Let's stay inside for a bit and talk for a while" he suggested, shivering as the cold rain began to make the car interiour chilly.

"Can we squeeze in the backseat together?" he asked timidly as he climbed over into the back "It's a bit nippy in here".

[Fable]

Alexander folded his arms and stared out the window in disbelief.
"Oh come on. Don't be such a chicken! It's only a bit of wet and cold! What sort of Englishman are you?" he moaned, and rolling his eyes heavenward he turned the engine back on again, before turning the heating on.
Pity it would take at least an hour to actually become warm, he supposed they'd just have to freeze til then.
He did his best to ignore the indignant faces Ashley was making at him in the mirror.
Eventually he gave in though, how could he resist such a cute pout?
Flicking off his sun glasses, which had suddenly became out of place with the rain, he set his own seat down and clambered in beside Ashley.
Sitting down on the well padded back seat, he took the other man by surprise and scooped him up, sitting him on his knee so that Ashley's back was resting against his chest.
Leaning his chin on Ashley's shoulder he mumbled "Happy now?".
Feeling a little aroused at having that lithe body on top of his for the first time in so long, he tightened his grip on his lover and wrapped both his arms around him.

Ashley laughed excitably as Alexander lifted him onto his knee, and was happy to be held so close to Alexander's warmth - although he wasn't best pleased with being called a chicken.

"I'm not a chicken! You've always been warmer than me anyway - hence why I've got you keeping me warmed up" he said, matter of factly. Ashley adjusted himself on Alexander's lap, feeling as though he was sitting on some sort of lump. In actuality, Alexander had sprung a semi, having not felt Ashley sit on his lap for so long - though he neglected to mention so.

"Okay" Ashley said, having reached some internal conclusion "I'll go out in the rain with you if it's still raining iiiin... 10 minutes? Wouldn't want to waste the day out anyway" He leant back and kissed the top of Alexander's ear as if to make the promise officially.

[Fable]

"Warmer huh? What about time you called me a cold hearted Bastard for not keeping that silly little dog we found on the coast?" chuckled Alexander, trying to hide his embarrassment at losing control so easily.
Ashley wasn't helping, bouncing all over the place like a rabbit. He nuzzled his neck and pinned his arms down in an effort to keep him still.
That seemed to do the job, he shut his eyes and listened to the beautiful man's steady breathing, feeling at peace for the first time in years.
After a few rare moments of silence he spoke.
"How are you feeling? Better? Still sensitive to anything? You seem to have gotten over the light at least. " he asked, running his hands down Ashley's sides as if searching for defects.
He found nothing but a severe case of the tickles, and satisfied started looking outside at the miserable weather.
"Looks like it's still raining. .." he remarked with a frown.

Ashley smiled "Yes, I'm fine, I'm having a bad day today I think..." he hestitated "I think the nightmare of being stuck in a box has made me a bit dodge today... Although I could have sworn it was real..." Ashley looked troubled, although Alexander soon started tickling him and he laughed and squirmed uncontrollably, the previous thought slipping his mind once again.

As Ashley's laughter died down from the tickling he was being tortured with, he looked out the window when Alexander had reminded him of the continued deluge. "Fiiiine... I did promise" he whined, as he opened the car door and shifted out into the freezing rain, squealing while the raindrops soaked his clothes and ruined his hair.

[Fable]

Alexander quickly followed, laughing heartily at Ashley's squeals.
The rain was certainly doing its best to put them off, he had been outside the car for a few seconds and he felt drenched!
He suddenly felt guilty for not providing Ashley with a proper rain coat, although he had dressed him in his own clothes.
Still, he looked as stunning as ever when wet, thought Alexander to himself with a grin.
Suddenly an idea occurred to him.
"Come on! There's a cave down that end! Remember?" he yelled to his lover over the torrent.
He pulled his rather useless coat off, and throwing it over Ashley's head, grabbed the young man's hand and started to run across the sand.

Ashley laughed loudly as Alexander grabbed his hand and broke into a run. His prior hesitation had appeared to have been washed away by the rain itself and he followed Alexander intently, still laughing as they raced to shelter. He'd totally forgotten the coldness of the rain as his body aclimatised to the temperature drop - this was much more fun that sitting in the car.

Between breaths, Ashley panted "H-hey-" he breathed inwards again "There it is!" he yelled happily, pointing towards the grotto a few yards in the distance.

[Fable]

"Yeah. I know where I'm running thanks!" yelled Alexander playfully.
Tugging Ashley behind him he sprinted for the cover of the cave, which was settled amongst a rocky mess of similar structures.
Once inside he finally noticed just how wet he was, as he looked down at his saturated jeans and sopping jeans.
He grinned over towards Ashley, who seemed to be showing all the grace of a drowned kitten.
Alexander shook himself like a wild animal, dislodging water droplets in all directions.
Not that he minded being wet, he just enjoyed messing with Ashley, who would of course start squealing at any minute.
He gave the other man some time to catch his breath, before he gave their next move any thought.
"So? What now? Want to explore? Or should we just wait here til' the rain gives in?" Alexander asked, already looking around hopefully.

Ashley took a look at his wet clothes - he was soaked head to toe and was starting to shiver. Nonetheless, he still laughed heartily which echoed through the cave. He whined predictably at Alexander trying to splash more water at him, but decided that he might repay the favour.

As Alexander was turned round, looking into the cave and proposing to explore it further, Ashley peeled the shirt from his back. Scrunched up, he held the wet shirt over Alexander's head and twisted each end, draining the t-shirt of some of its moisture into Alexander's hair.

He laughed again as Alexander turned round, unamused.
