I live in an old town with a lot of history. there is the closed asylum, the old orphanage, the gallows, corthouse, gaol, the old brewery, the old hotel, the workshops. just to name a few, all of these places have dark historys and at least one fatality each.

D: Meanie! I'm American, and I live in a Victorian styled chateau. So its one of those stereotypical "Haunted Houses." I'm not going to lie, yes my house is haunted. Stuff has moved before, I remember we have this glass jar filled with peppermint candies, and I walked into the kitchen, got myself a drink, sat down, and watched the jar move across my counter top. Scary shit, but honestly I've been used to it.

Umm, what else... There's this forboding atmosphere in one of the bedrooms of the house, its always really cold and creepy, even when its summertime and the windows are open. I don't hear wailing or chains throughout the home at night but my mom told me I used to have a lot of "imaginary friends" that lived in the house and when I described them they seemed to be past residents of the home. And yes, they were not just children, there was "A mommy and a daddy too." So, I dunno. I kinda believe "ghosts" exist. O.o

Wow, that gave me the chills. That is some creepy stuff there. I've never had imaginary friends, but your story sounds really intriguing, and mysterious.
I live in a block of flats, and the entire area seems to have been built upon what was once a very old graveyard, so I've had other strange shit happening around here when I was a kid. Well, not quite the kind to send you into cardiac arrest, but weird nonetheless. We had a cute glass once, and it was placed on the cupboard above the fridge, and I remember being alone at home, during the day, during summer vacation, or after getting back from school, and every time I'd walk into the kitchen, or even past it, I would find the glass resting on the table, but that was impossible, since there was nobody else home but myself. Every time I'd put the glass back where it belonged, and every time I would find it on the table. But it only happened when I was alone. At one point, I started thinking I'd lost my minds, and that I was the one responsible for the glass ending on the table, but it always happened, even if had no business in the kitchen. Alas, my mom accidentally dropped the glass one day when she was cleaning up, and there haven't been any other strange occurrences like that one ever since.

Most of the creepy things I know of are just from hear say, so they're not really that reliable. But speaking of paranormal, I've noticed, that lately, I've developed an unusual ability. Sometimes I can predict what's going to happen in the smallest detail. But it only happened a few times. Guess it must be intuition. But then, I have dreams of things that are going to happen, and they do happen.
Dunno if this counts, but sometimes, on very rare occasions, something weird happens to my bio electric field. I get zapped when touching non conductive material, such as wood, even plastic, or glass. A few months ago, as I was returning home from work, in a very shitty mood, I might ad, I passed the Church. It has speakers mounted on the outside, so everyone can hear the sermon. So I passed by, and just as I entered in the range of one of the speakers, it started acting weird, making strange noises, something like static. Can't explain it, but it sounded like magnetic interference, and I'm thinking it couldn't have been a coincidence, cause as soon as I was out of the speaker's range, everything returned to normal.

And two days ago, when my dumb keyboard went haywire, I opened it up to see what the heck was wrong, and when I put the screws back, I noticed they stuck to the screwdriver. they'd become slightly magnetized, and I'll be damned if I know how that happened. It's starting to sound more and more like a freak show.

Its not creepie at all. but then again I have always loved the scary and macarb. The moment anyone says scary, haunted or dangerous i have to go see in person.
thats why i spend most of my free time during summer in the old drainage tunnels under town. the old hotel was turned in to flats years and years ago. i lived there for 2 years. my flat was the old bar, entrance, foyer and half of the gally. the story behind the hotel was that one night a man who was staying got very drunk, he tryed to make a pass at one of the maids. she denied him all night and he got angry with her. latter after the bar had closed she was asked to make sure he got to his room. he tryed to grope her and she told him off. he struck her and she fell down thwe stairs. In panic he took her unconcious body, thinking she was dead and dumped it in the disused well next to the coach house. they only found her body after it had started to smell. to this day the house is always cold and damp. the old bar cellar is half a meter under water no matter how often it is pumped out. the old well is still there and to this day smells faintly of off meat.

No, I really am scarred, I can't stand creepy stories, I always feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack, but I guess I'm sorta drawn to them, maybe t's the thrill of having the living daylights scared out of me, who knows...

an atraction to scary stories? nothing makes you feel more alive than a good fright. but there is nothing to be scard of.

I'm too scared, lol. I can't watch horror movies cause I can't sleep at night afterwards. I have to admit these paranormal things, scare the living daylights out of me.
